I am an introvert with an extroverted mother with dementia. Oh it’s sooo hard and I get so frustrated and just want her to stop talking. Thank you for these videos, you are amazing!

same with my dad and he wants to visit people, I understand he gets tired of staying home since he only has a few tv shows that he still watches-even though he complains because they are reruns. So I tried once for us just to go ride around a bit and look at the country side, a lot of open areas here with cows, horses etc, but after a minute or two he says "I thought we were going to visit -insert someone's name". He forgets that other people have lives and some still have jobs or they are sick and don't feel up to a visitor.

Jessica Resendez I'm not sure that Teepa explained it fully in this series of videos. Basically, dementia is not a disease: it is a category of diseases which describe cognitive impairment, memory problems, and brain failure. Alzheimer's disease is one kind of dementia -- it is the most common form of dementia. But there are also many other kinds: vascular dementia, Lewy Bodies dementia, frontal lobe dementia, "mad cow disease," alcoholism dementia, Parkinson's dementia.... to name just a few. A doctor should NEVER diagnose just "dementia" which out determining which kind it is. If you doctor does not, go see a neurologist.

There are a bunch of different kinds of dementia, and Alzheimer's is one of those types. In all of them the brain fails gradually until eventually the person can't live anymore, but the exact symptoms and what parts of the brain start to fail first are different for different kinds of dementia. E.g., language, short term memory, physical coordination, logic, emotional control, impulse control, vision, etc... The details of what goes how and when vary with different kinds of dementia.

Jshaktiha River I can’t remember the difference but I do remember she said 5 different types of Alzheimer’s and 80-90 different types of dementia. For the record I believe with all of my heart that the increase in these diseases are environmentally induced by the constant chemicals that we are being sprayed with PLEASE see Geoengineerwatch.org for the real causes. Btw research glutathione and find a good heavy metal detox clearing the aluminum particulate build up on one’s brain will do wonders.
