I'm getting the vibe from the interactions, the acting and the scenery that the third girl we see, given the play ground and car jamming scene, he was more invested in the relationship than she was. The second girl, with the kitchen was the other way around where she was more invested. And the first girl we see is the "last" relationship where we see his growth in how he's taking her out to dinner, seems more like he's trying to be considerate of what she thinks, and is caught off by her "you a player aren't you" as like "I haven't done that in years hold up."
Not to mention we only see him sing the lines "It's shitty cause I'm doing the same to you." with the other two relationships, but never that supposedly "last one"
Even if I'm wrong, that's how I'ma take it cause I think that's a beautiful message that love is about co-operation, and sometimes people just aren't meant to work together.

after several rewatches the story can read by the clothing he's wearing/facial expressions.
- he's happiest with the girl in suspenders (he's in redish collared shirt)
- The other girl eventually gets over his games, then giving him mixed signals so he's uncertain (he's in a pinkish polo)
- the last girl he simply wasn't into ( he's in dodgers jersey)
