I can’t imagine Barnaby getting from his “downtown” office - or downtown Pasadena (before it was demolished the office building where Barnaby’s office is located used in the establishing shots was located in Pasadena) - to anywhere on Los Angeles’s ocean coast in only about ten minutes.
