With that Ultimate, I can tell Voli is gonna be a pretty good champion in the jungle as he can easily TD the enemy and he can also combo smite with his 2nd ability on an objective to secure it just like Nunu’s Q+Smite combo.
The only thing you forgot to mention is that the 1st ability can be used on turrets. Cause volibear to leap on the turret dealing a bit more damage I believe.
Also I’d imagine him splitpushing a big wave would be deadly, of course using his ultimate on an enemy is big but having a big healthy wave with hullbreaker baron sounds crazy
general tip i have learned from pc players. when you play voli top lane and you face a ranged match up u can go on them with Q "first ability" for the move speed bonus and poke them with ur passive like a static shiv. otherwise W start "second ability" into melee is the most consistent
Leaning against him as someone like Yasuo is pain since if he gets all 5 stacks (and mind you It’s VERY easy to do so) the lightning jumping from minions will proc your shields which make Initiating trades unfavorable
Full ap volibear can solo Baron fairly quickly, and his damage is decent, not absurd, but if he snowballs he's definitely one to watch out for. Tank has naturally good utility, iceborn on him works very nicely.
tried the tank as jg and fight against the AP, won the fight with half of health, enough to kill another 2 solo, amaranth and iceborn works wonder on him lmao, idk if it's really good or the other voli is just bad tho
I think that his Full AP build might become popular just like Full AP Nautilus,but,of course,it does have the same problems:you are squishier and you also need to snowball, otherwise you will be useless+he doesn't have the same burst potential like Nautilus,you still need to fight the enemy face to face.
Basicly Tank/bruiser build is better overall but ap is fun and hilarious because you gain AS and heal when you triggerd passive and goes well with Riftmaker and nashors It has its issues via squishy and antiheal but IF it snowballs then ggs
On pc Voli can hide his 3 animation with his 1 thought with this combo you obviously you might not get your auto 1 auto but that’s okay you get the 3 and the shield
@@lunargwen Hells basically covered it, I just wanted to mention that you can hide your 1 in your 3 in Volis running animation. This can also be said when he does his 1 too like auto 1, 3 auto. So to initiate maybe run with 1 to overlap your 3 animation, then just auto in between your 1 and 2 cooldowns. Obviously the big damage would be 3 auto 1 auto 2 repeat, it’s kinda what you would think the combos would be.

I've only used him with an AP build so far, but he's great.
For ap, go this: lethal tempo, hunter vamp, conditioning or perseverance, transcendence, ROA, nashors, riftmaker, death cap, twin guards or reflector.
