Gifted well played.
I've been watching these videos for a long time ..some job to do on your own 😮 well done 👍
Thanks for the continued support Barry. I finished the loft a few years ago but the editing and uploads have taken a bit longer! Thanks for watching.......another loft video !
Nice one pouse, always coming to your vids helped me so much
Looked like some hard graft! Great video 👍
It was! Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching 👍
Perfect viewing for my first Sunday morning cup of . Magnetic wrist strap for the screws Pouse?
Magnetic strap would have been a great idea. Too late now, I did this 3 years ago! 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
I need more elephant rescue plan in the soundtrack. Just like the early videos..
Maybe I'll throw some back in! Thanks for watching 👍
Did you route a new circuit from the fusebox? Will you be wet plastering over the plasterboards?
I added to the upstairs ring circuit continuing the ring. You can see in one of my earlier videos where I broke into the ring. I plastered it all myself. Unfortunately I've lost a lot of footage after this point which I'm currently trying to get recovered from my hard drive. Thanks for watching 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE Thanks for the reply. It seems that some of the upstairs walls in my house just had plasterboard with paper put over it. :-(
How long did your extension take from start to finish? I've watched a lot of your videos on it and it looks very hard work. Also, what is it you do for a living? I know you've said before but I can't remember 😂.
It took 2 and a half years from complete start to finish but I had many months off from it in between, plus lockdown, material supply issues etc. I've taken a long time to edit and upload which is why it appears to have taken so long. As for the day job, nothing to do with building! Thanks for the continued support 👍
A decade-long loft project continues!
😂😂. Luckily for me it was finished a long time ago. It'd my editing and uploads that have taken a decade! Thanks for sticking with it and your continued support 👍
1st again ......
You're very keen! Thanks for the support 👍
WHAT is the point of insulated plaster board on sloping ceilings? Another pointless diktat for diktat's sake as far as I'm concerned.
In fairness it has made the room really warm. Even in winter I have no heating on in that room and it's fine. Hope that helps 👍
@@POUSEaroundtheHOUSE But how do you know it's that extra 35mm or so which does it when you already have 4" of insulation?
