RIP....Ronnie, Jeff, Jerry Lee & Carl.... never to be replaced.
I have heard a lot of solos by many great guitarists but this solo by Jeff Healey was from the bottom of his soul! It was not to impress anybody but was to let his feelings come out! You could tell that the other musicians felt it to. Being a guitarist I can relate to it and his ability. These are the performances that I use to improve my playing. But you can not copy soul you can only borrow it and try to adapt it to your playing. I have been doing this for 68 years and never stop trying to learn something new! Thank you Jeff for sharing your talent and soul. RIP
Once Ronnie said turn em loose boys...they certainly did
Thank you Jeff for giving us the gift of you're amazing God given talent! Rest in Peace brother.
WOW WOW WOW what a performance. Jeff Healey is like a melting pot of Hendrix, SRV, Clapton, Trower, Marino, Moore but with a bunch of his own brand of soul and feel unlike any other.
they don't make rockin' rollers like these guys anymore
Is beautiful but elvis version is unique
Wow! Glad that I found this one. A true superstar band. I was looking for The Clovers 1957 original, and Elvis' from 1966. I'll add this one to my faves.
Was that Levon on drums back there? This may be the best Blues Rock ever!! Great musicians assembled on that stage. How come this does not have a bazillion more views?
