15:06 The fact that the sister AND parents both jump on the “grow up and get rid of it” train absolutely reeks of sibling jealousy and the parents having a favourite child! Absolutely ridiculous behaviour
I think the thing that makes me upset about the first story is that her fiance REALLY wanted a big wedding. I know what it's like growing up poor and then being able to live differently later on in life. Let him have his dream wedding as well.
@Nurlinda F Sihotang ya but that's not how it goes tho, when a guy marries a female, usually most brides it's their way or the highway, I agree with you but the chance of this happening is not common
Exactly he wants to have a big wedding and it's his wedding too so who cares what anyone else thinks! Weddings are hard enough and the best advice is to just do what you and your fiance want and don't want try please anyone else. You don't want to regret it. It's your day! It's all about the two of you
the moment my parents get involved and demand I do something with my house to appease the sibling I'm doing a favor for already; that's when it's "Find your own venue" time because you ain't allowed here until you apologize and understand I don't owe any of you a dang thing.
This is so painfully true! In my experience a lot of people don't have any problem having sympathy for you when you're doing less than they are. Oftentimes they wish you the best in the world. But when things indeed start to get better, luck is being on your side, these same people often find it hard to genuinly be happy for you. You begin to feel discomfort, being happy feels like you're bragging, but at the same time you just want them to be happy for you. It's so exhausting!
“That is a petty hill that you need to die on.” YES! 1000% YES! I always think it is insane when grown siblings argue and one of them always brings in their parents to settle it… Grown people who still think they can use their parents to settle their sibling disputes are absolutely ridiculous. As Charlotte likes to say, “ABSOLUTELY NOT!”
The parents are idiots fir being unable to look past the lable of Disney to see the actual issue at hand. Imagine demanding some change their whole interior decor just in case someone happens to see it at your free wedding venue. The absolute entitlement, immaturity, and plain rudeness is appalling, yet all these parents focus on is “Disney”. They need a reality check.
@@MissCaraMintsounds like these parents have a problem making use of the word "no". Like, "No, we're not going to solve your little baby problems for you."
@@jamisojo That's an excellent point. Even though they said such crappy things to OP, I think what they really meant was, "We're so f***ing tired of your sister complaining to us, just do what she says so she'll shut up," instead of actually shutting the source of the complaint down.
First OP should have pointed out that of course she never talked about wanting a fancy wedding before, this was her fiance's dream and therefore his idea and he's the one running the show. OP couldn't care less about Heather and Heather's "amazing" wedding, she just wants her fiance to be happy.
Except, let’s be honest - it wouldn’t have helped. Because it was never about OP and what THEY wanted - Heather was mad because she wanted the spotlight.
My boss’s daughter had a crazy expensive wedding and truly beautiful. Was so happy to see my boss so happy. That being said. My wedding was perfect. Sunday brunch with beautiful ivy hanging. Cost less than her dress. It should never be a competition
Yes. Normalize it... or else. I had a hilariously rushed and CHEAP wedding. It was very small, but still cute. He proposed with the cheapest bridal set he could find. I got the dress (thrift store) and cake and there were about a dozen people there. Half of them from my new husband's disapproving family. Most of my friends boycotted my wedding because they said I was getting married too fast and that it would never last. They bashed my choice of groom (he's the most honorable and hard working man I've ever met in my life), bashed me, accused me of being pregnant (I wasn't), openly bet on the divorce date, called me an idiot, and on and on and on. It was actually quite cruel. Well, I won. They're ALL divorced. 🙂 And I mean ALL of them! Not ONE person who badmouthed my little wedding got to keep their first mate. NOT. ONE. Hubby and I now have grandkiddos, are still very much in love, and are prepping for retirement. Yes. I'm petty *AF* about it! All I had to do was be happy, tend my marriage... *... and wait.* Karma never misses.
I love that "the other person " sounds like the teacher from the cartoon series PEANUTS aka Charlie brown's teacher. Lol. It was shown in the early 70s and 80's
If I went to a wedding and they had Winnie the Pooh towels I'd be giggling like a child, i don't see anyone reacting weird to cute pooh bear towels!!! 😂
I'm disabled and had a crappy childhood. I'm not happy with how my life turned out, but I will always be happy for other ppl's successes in Life. And it does NOT give me the right to be an asshole to ANYONE. LOVE how Charlotte is always happy for everyone, and the level of empathy oozing off of her, she is epic❤ Norwegian fan right here🎉❤
The parents in these always make me so angry. Why do they always take the side of the person who is in the wrong?! As a mom of four, I’m determined to never be that kind of parent. If I do not give into tantrums while my kids are young, I most definitely will not give in when they’re adults.
I reckon that's why the person in the wrong ended up so entitled in the first place. The parents always gave them whatever they wanted since they were little and continue doing so because it's the easy way. What baffles me is that the person who is clearly in the right actually starts questioning themselves, that's some trauma right there from always being sidelined by the family.
@@Arkanna96 Bill Cosby explained it something about the child being SO SHRILL that they will do anything to stop the noise. Bad parenting. Just buy some earplugs for everyone and put the kid in a time-out until they calm the heck down.
“You’re baby is a girl! You can’t have a girl first!! This isn’t fair!!! I demand you switch her with a baby boy to make me happy!” -Heather (probably)
This is nothing compared to the probable name the baby fight that Heather will start, because OP will have picked the name “I always wanted” (Heather, obviously).
14:33 I 100% said they can rent outhouses then and THEY can tell their guests that can’t use the house. I would 100% tell every guest, “Oh I don’t care if you use the bathroom inside but the bride said it ain’t allowed 😂🤣🤪💀”
As someone who got married on zoom on my couch with my roommate as a witness, friend as officiant and cat as flower girl I seriously don’t get wedding dramas. The best wedding I was at was on a roof top of a friend’s apartment, family made food and cake, friend bought flowers and decorated, another DJed and another took photos. We all had so much fun.
I could never have my cat as a flower girl. He is bad about eating flowers. I hope your kitty was a lovely flower girl and didn't eat too many of the flowers.
With that sort of materialistic outlook I bet bro dumps wifey when his mid-life crisis kicks in (if not before) for some much younger hottie. Then they’ll be eligible to join the “50% failed marriage club;” it’s extremely exclusive & terribly au courant! 😂
Lol, I also got married on Zoom! Mine was in the back room of my dad's law office, and my fiancé was 1,000 miles away in his military dorm. And it was great! We got to have our entire extended family on the call, and we only spent about $400 on everything for it, dress included. No drama, and we got to to a private celebration a couple months later.
For the last one, if the op ends up having to store all that stuff. I would have totally dressed up as the fairy god mother and greeted all the guest like that. And when the sister goes to complain, I'd just say "I Bibbidy Bobbidi boo-ped your wedding venue, you should know all magic comes with a price."
Love that her fiance wants her to have the most wonderful wedding possible! So sweet. Reminds me of the movie 'Crazy Rich Asians'. Her SIL should feel so blessed to get to experience such a loving and special wedding of her husband's sister!
If they manage to stay married for that long! The dad will definitely have another affair for a newer model when the warranty runs out. It's just a matter of time.

The sister having the wedding in the barn thing: so they aren’t really going to see the Disney stuff unless they are really focusing on it unless the guests are snooping around the house as they go to the bathroom.
@@seameology well, yeah, I actually think that's the reason behind "I don't wanna anyone to remember my wedding like this"XD Imagine being an entitled bridezilla and get an awesome barn property for free only to hear years after "Oh yeah, I remember your wedding, the one with cool disney stuff in the house hall🤩"
A wooden outhouse fits the decor perfectly. No running water. Don't plan on "dumping yer load there". People using the house are casing the joint out. "What can they steal" Disney collectibles?
A wedding is not about the money spent on it, but the atmosphere and memories. The best wedding I have been to, including my own, was probably the cheapest.
😂 The first story! She should call "Heather" and invite her to a "mock" dress fitting... where the OP tries on various potato sacks, and keeps asking SIL "is this *peasant* enough for you?"
yesssss... I would honestly do something similar with every aspect of the wedding: menu tasting with a "friend who's catering "... cake tasting with another friend. Hair & makeup with a beginner cosmetology student. Text her details & casually ask "would this be too much? " etc. But OF COURSE actually plan the wedding however they want. Night before or morning of text SIL & say "everything keeps getting canceled or changed last minute. The wedding planner is calling in some favors and says it will all be okay... but Im so stressed" The look on her face would be EPIC
When she says don’t let them dull your shine.. yalll LISTEN TO ITTTT!! This goes for anything, HOBBIES ALL THE THINGS. It’s so important to be yourself and have fun with this life
I've always wanted a Nightmare before Christmas or Alice in Wonderland wedding. And as a 3rd generation Disney kid, STAND YOUR GROUND!! You may grow old, but you never have to grow up.🎉
Got a groom picked out yet ? Bc I would LOVE a Nightmare Before Christmas themed wedding! I like Alice/Hatter too. But may I add a 3rd choice ? Pirates of the Caribbean. 😁😁😁 Options! 😂😂
@Josh.WDW. Oh oh OH YES! I can imagine it now... fishnet tablecloth, skulls vases full of tropical flowers, skeletal hand champagne glasses, have the theme play when the bride walks down & when they leave after the ceremony, the groom could say 'and was without a drop of rum'🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@NEON_STARS420 I did about a 3-month run of a stage production where I got to play Captain Jack Sparrow. I swear probably the most fun character I've ever done!!
@Josh.WDW. OMG! I bet! That sounds so cool & like it would be a blast & a half 😁😆 One of my older brothers has a empty bottle of rum on his computer desk, sometimes when playing games he'll suddenly grad it & ask "why is the rum gone?!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He's a scallywag through and through.
The way she leaned back as she said, “Let’s normalize being happy for people when they have something good going on in their lives” and the neon “PETTY” sign on the wall being shown in full...seems highly appropriate for the sarcastic tone she started off using at the beginning of that speech, so awesome lol. OMG I took a screenshot of it; it’s priceless LOL.
In these stories, you can so clearly tell that the entitled behavior must've gone unchecked for a long, long time, judging by the families' reactions. Never let anyone (including relatives) bully you into giving in when someone is disrespecting your boundaries! Your purpose in life isn't to be convenient for others ❤
For the last story, they should have the sister pay for outdoor bathroom facilities regardless of if she was embarrassed of the house or not. You just don’t want tons of people going in and out of your house. I went to a wedding a few years ago held at the bride’s grandmothers house and only family was allowed inside. They had mobile bathrooms for everyone else and they were sooooo nice. I was legit surprised when I went in them. And it was definitely more convenient and comfortable for me as a guest than traipsing through a stranger’s house.
I've been to a wedding like that too, the reception was in a huge party tent at the bride's uncles place. It was actually a great idea to have mobile bathrooms, because they could have five of them at the same place, which I'm guessing they didn't have in the house, so pretty much no waiting in line s well as not having to go into a strangers house!
The parents in this who sided with the sister and told their other child what to do with THEIR OWN HOUSE just boggles my mind. My parents wouldn’t DARE!.
I can just hear, "But a porta potty is so tacky and smelly! My guests can't use that! It won't match my asthetic or colors!" Well lady, which is "tackier" the porta potty or the Disney merch they'd only see if snooping? Grow up. I'd just say, "Rent your own venue then! Casa de sister is officially closed!"
I had 15 surgeries, I learned to walk again and everything. My mom to this day, can't be happy in better. I'll never understand people that can't be happy for other people. Honestly they are just miserable.
My mom too! I ended up calling her out on Mother’s Day yesterday because if she talks about me it’s always in the negative and it’s not at all a nice image. I’ve been sick for years and often close to death but she just loves to criticize me for not working, cause I collapsed several times, and for being on medication. She ran into a woman I used to nanny for and of course only had negatives to say about me as if I’m a junkie on the street and not incredibly ill. I pointed out I could do the same to her and tell everyone how she’s such a drunk that she can’t spend ten minutes with her family without being horrible and cruel but I wouldn’t do it cause you don’t spread dirty laundry. Mothers are often far more toxic and damaging then fathers when mothers go bad (look at Freuds archaic mother or also known as the devouring mother)
Is it something like she could be upset you just don’t need her anymore or is she just mad you’re happy and thriving? The first one could maybe be communicated by saying that you feel maybe she’s feeling/ acting a certain way about no longer being your main help but that you still love her and would love to include her in aspects of your life differently but that she will always be important. If it’s the latter then she’s just a shitty human being and I would definitely create some hard boundaries. I find communication is usually the best option maybe just bluntly ask like, “hey I’ve had all these surgeries and worked so hard and am happy but It feels like to me that you are not happy for me”. Give her the chance to respond and maybe it could be the first one where they just feel left out after being needed & relied upon heavily for help & now they don’t know their place or miss the closeness or feel used you only needed them when sick (not true but maybe they feel that way). I in no way am trying to say you did anything wrong at all you’re probably not wrong in this scenario; I just mean some ppl aren’t good at communicating their feelings and it can come out in other ways so sometimes you need to be the person that initiates communicating if maybe there’s a reason she’s acting this way that isn’t coming from a mean place that your missing or a misunderstanding somewhere or they could just be a narcissist/ A-hole and don’t know how to be happy for their child that has not only endured a lot but overcome & is doing their best. I wish you nothing but a brighter future & good health.
Maybe she liked it when you needed her more? She had a purpose? But sounds like she's bummed she no longer gets pity/attention from people? Keep taking care of yourself, don't let negativity make your journey more difficult!
Good grief! I’LL be happy for you! Take a hug and a pat on the back from a stranger- and keep congratulating yourself on doing such an incredible achievement. Mom is stuck in her own misery and don’t let her pull you in. Just walk away and like Charlotte says, let it go😄 And sometimes a bit of no contact helps your sanity 😊
For the last story where the people hosting their sister’s wedding at their farm house being asked to remove all the Disney items I would gracefully invite them to find another wedding venue that is Disney free.
My husband and I both grew up not having much but we make a pretty decent living now. We had a fairly extravagant wedding, defiantly more than I ever thought possible. It was an amazing day, and it’s been nearly 10 years and I still love him to pieces. We have been to many weddings since. It’s never occurred to me to compare what they had to our day, it’s always just a party for loves sake and we go and get a little drunk and dance the night away. Backyard on the cheap to ballroom rental, it doesn’t matter, we always have fun. It would never occur to me to call up my sister to say she couldn’t have the day she wants because she couldn’t outshine me. Jesus.
Emotions are emotions, if Heather can't be happy for her SIL it's something she needs to work on but it doesn't make her a bad person. What does make her a bad person is taking the feelings out on the SIL and actually asking her to tone down her wedding (wtf lol). She should have realized 'this is not a great feeling, so I'm going home and work through it' instead of being a total AH.
Love how Charlotte’s neighbour called to ask her to “tone it down” and then she spends a minute talking about being happy for other people’s success at a very high volume! LOVE IT!
Although I kind of understand when they called they second time because Charlotte was screaming that someone shit themselves 😂 even as petty potatoes, we’ll accept criticism for that one
@@tyfaknee lol, I realised it was faked later in the video, but I’ve got a feeling that this is a “true story” joke. She’s a queen and I’m just enjoying the moment.
I guess I never want to be jealous about anyone or anything. Sure, someone can be better looking, have more money than me, a good partner or something like that, but I'm glad for what I have and am, and while I don't know that I'm actually happy with my life, I realize things could be worse in many ways, so I'm content with what I have. I've come to realize that many times wanting something only brings pleasure momentarily, but if you have what you need, that's all that really matters.
Am I the only one who didn't want a huge fancy wedding? I get exhausted thinking about these people's weddings. 😂😂😂 My husband and I had an 80s rocker wedding with just him and me. I crimped my hair, we wore matching metal shirts and jeans, and got married outside a hundred year old courthouse in front of a beautiful tree. Afterward, we went out to eat. Inexpensive, no people to please, no drama. We loved it! ❤❤❤
I was never the little girl to dream about weddings. I wanted super simple and just family. My husband was fine with the simpleness I chose, but he wanted to invite more people than just family. I didn’t really like that and wished I would’ve said just family… because there was so many others I didn’t invite because the venue I chose would not have fit everyone who knew us. It is what it is and we’re happily married still 6 years later.
But what if your husband had wanted a big wedding? We didn't have a huge one but if my husband would have wanted one I would have helped him make that dream come true. If he wanted to buy me a 12k euro dress perhaps I would have persuaded him to donate that money instead, and if he insisted, he wouldn't have been the right fit for me I guess. Point is, if you love them you want them to have what they have always dreamed of (within realistic limits).
Nope not the only one! My husband proposed to me on Xmas eve at the place we met, then we eloped on New Year’s Eve. I have 6 siblings a huge extended family and my husband has quite a large family as well. The thought of having a wedding always gave me anxiety. It was the best decision. We had a big party a few months later in our backyard. We hired a dJ, bought lots of beer, ordered a dance floor to put on the grass and danced and drank the night away. It was perfect! My husband and I met at 19, married at 26, have 2 daughters and we are now 41 years old and very much in love still.
I opened a fortune cookie during the first story of the jealous SIL. The fortune? "Be a good sport and you can't fail!" SIL "Heather" should have had that advice. I'm not into lavish weddings (we spent under $1K on ours 37 years ago) but I'm very happy for OP and her fiancé that he has the means to spend whatever they wanted for a dream wedding. It's THEIR DAY and they should be able to celebrate it as THEY wish within their chosen budget! 🎉🥂
The last story: they are so childish, yet they are not the ones who are asking for a free avenue at somebody's else expense and having unreasonable demands. OP should tell her sister, if the space she's offering isn't good enough for her as it is, and with decorations in the house, she can find another venue and parents can pay for it. Bloody nerve of them. And I feel the same for the parents of the OP of the first story. The bloody nerve.
I had my wedding at my brothers newly built house. He offered. It was a few days after Christmas and my SIL decorated beautifully! I just used what they still had up and added a few touches. I even got to walk down a beautiful staircase. I was so thankful and didn’t care what else they had in the house. It was theirs! It was a magical day even though we are divorced now. 😂 SUBSCRIBE!!
one of my friends wedding was not a fancy wedding in any stretch of the imagination…BUT, you can tell her wedding day is full of blessings for all the guests couldn’t wait to see them get married. With the wedding full of love and support I thought her wedding was one of the “wealthiest” weddings… And I wanted that. A wedding full of families and friends love and support…I think having a fancy wedding is great but at the end of the day is the support and love that make a wedding sweet..not money alone.
You have that right. In my family my husband and I eloped. All my other cousins had the spend big weddings. They are all on their second and third marriages. My husband and I celebrated our 53 year this year. Love means everything, money means nothing when it comes to love and respect.
Aw that honestly warms my heart. I’m so happy for her. You’re right, the details don’t matter in the end. Good good, good company that’s all that matters.
re: the last story, you know she (the bride) can rent fairly fancy outhouses that could be placed just outside the barn for everyone's convenience. Now no one has to go in the house.
Okay, so I went to the comments of the first and last story on Reddit and discovered some interesting stuff. First story: The reason why SIL is saying OP and her Fiancee are upstaging her wedding is because their wedding is a destination wedding and that the Fiancee is paying for everyone's flights and hotel rooms. Also, OP did not come up with the destination wedding idea, it was something her Fiancee always dreamed about having since he was little kid watching destination weddings on TV. Fiancee told her about his wedding idea, and OP fell in love with it while they were planning the wedding. Just thought I should put that in. Someone commented saying that if brother and SIL don't want OP and her Fiancee to spend so much money, OP should tell them that they can pay for their own flights and hotel room to reduce the budget, and I thought that was hilarious. Last story: One thing that stood out to me was a comment OP replied to (which has been deleted so I do not know what they said), but OP stated that the comment made them laugh because this is their sister's second wedding. Makes me wonder if the sister's behavior is what caused her first marriage to end.
Regarding the "Disney-hating bride": If she doesn't want her guests to see anything Disney when they use the bathroom, perhaps she should rent a port-a-potty unit for them to use.
They could just go in some bushes, behind the barn or (in a more urban setting) squat between parked cars. Or rent a hall, or better yet the local high school gymnasium!
There are some *really* nice "port-a-potties" on the market now. Like, air-conditioned, with overhead speakers, real toilets and a sink, and some even have outlets. I went to a wedding where they had one the size of a Winnebago with two separate bathrooms -- one for men and one for woman -- and it was probably the nicest bathroom I'd been in that wasn't attached to a building...
The chocolate fountain was hilarious! As for the sister who is helping her sister out for her wedding…. Don’t change a thing, the wedding is in your barn, not your home, she has no right to tell you how to decorate your home. I agree with Charlotte, get her port a loo’s or dig a deep hole in the paddock and put an outhouse over it. She will quickly change her tune

The best wedding we ever attended was in a small church with a reception in the basement social hall. It was full of love,”catered” by the church members, and so warm and loving that we all were beaming. Every person there except us had known the couple from their birth on. We were invited because my husband was a mentor for the groom and we were truly honored. It really brought home to us what a wedding should be - a chance for your friends and family to witness your marriage and add their joy to your own. The couple is still married, with three beautiful kids, and the Dad has become a very successful person. They remain practical, charitable, and in love.

The audacity of the parents telling OP to grow up when the sister whined to her parents for not getting her way.

Charlotte has some true gems of wisdom in today’s video! 🤌🤌✨✨
😂 poor Charlotte for learning these wisdom alone so she can share it with us
Need that one on a shirt
This is so painfully true! In my experience a lot of people don't have any problem having sympathy for you when you're doing less than they are. Oftentimes they wish you the best in the world.
But when things indeed start to get better, luck is being on your side, these same people often find it hard to genuinly be happy for you.
You begin to feel discomfort, being happy feels like you're bragging, but at the same time you just want them to be happy for you. It's so exhausting!
Came down here to say this! Such a great bit of wisdom!
@@Mirnum007 Yes, we do! Charlotte, are you listening? Can you add it to your Petty merch?
“That is a petty hill that you need to die on.”
YES!
I laughed so hard at the comment from her😂

@@jamisojo That's an excellent point. Even though they said such crappy things to OP, I think what they really meant was, "We're so f***ing tired of your sister complaining to us, just do what she says so she'll shut up," instead of actually shutting the source of the complaint down.
Chocolate stain in the dress: you were given Glorious Purpose!

First OP should have pointed out that of course she never talked about wanting a fancy wedding before, this was her fiance's dream and therefore his idea and he's the one running the show. OP couldn't care less about Heather and Heather's "amazing" wedding, she just wants her fiance to be happy.
And that folks...is the end of that 😂😂😂

Except, let’s be honest - it wouldn’t have helped.
Because it was never about OP and what THEY wanted - Heather was mad because she wanted the spotlight.

"Don't make other people dull their shine so it doesn't hurt your eyes" is some legit wisdom I did not expect.
Being a native NYker, born & raised I was taught to celebrate differences growing up. “Variety = spice of life” outlook 💯.
14:33 I 100% said they can rent outhouses then and THEY can tell their guests that can’t use the house. I would 100% tell every guest, “Oh I don’t care if you use the bathroom inside but the bride said it ain’t allowed 😂🤣🤪💀”
“Don’t make other people dull their shine so that it doesn’t hurt their eyes” is the quote of the century. This had a profound effect on my psyche
Omg, cat fower girl❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE ITTTT😂🎉🎉🎉
I aspire to have my cat as a flower cat (boy). That is the coolest!
"You can't send your kid to that fancy preschool cause I can't afford it." For the first story, if you give into her, this will be in your future.
"You can't send your kid unless you also pay for miiiine"🤨
For the last one, if the op ends up having to store all that stuff. I would have totally dressed up as the fairy god mother and greeted all the guest like that. And when the sister goes to complain, I'd just say "I Bibbidy Bobbidi boo-ped your wedding venue, you should know all magic comes with a price."

When I was 13, I had 3 cousins get married during that year. Each wedding was different, special and beautiful.
“Don’t make other people dull their shine so that it doesn’t hurt your eyes” this was beautifully said, very poetic 😊
I guess the sister wouldn't want to pay for any of the ideas mentioned: the venue, the outhouses, the packaging of the Disney stuff.
I was coming here to say they should hire portaloos.
"dont dull others shine so it doesn't hurt your eyes" 😩❤️❤️ i love you Charlotte
Just slap on some sunglasses and smile!
Straight up, the person from that last story should rent a Port-a-Potty for the wedding, then call it a wedding gift.
😂 But honestly, people are only going into the house to use the bathroom. So I think that would be the easiest choice if she keeps complaining. 😂
Came here to say this! 😂😂😂
That was exactly my thought. Now no one sees the decor 😂

Might take a look into narcissistic parents. Fwiw. Congrats on working hard and regaining your strength and independence!

Jesus.
IKR!? Who the hell do that!? That brother needs smack in the head.
Emotions are emotions, if Heather can't be happy for her SIL it's something she needs to work on but it doesn't make her a bad person. Everyone needs to learn how to be happy with what you have.
What's the old saying? Comparison is the thief of joy!
I'm sure yall are still married. Because it wasn't about the wedding it was about the marriage for you.
We eloped. I never wanted a big wedding. Married for 31 years before my husband passed.
That sister can bippity boppity back tf off about the sisters disney things or she can rent her own venue 11:39
Ultimately the bride's comments will only reflect badly on her when the guests hear them.
I had my wedding at my brothers newly built house. He offered. It was a few days after Christmas and my SIL decorated beautifully! I just used what they still had up and added a few touches. A wedding full of families and friends love and support…I think having a fancy wedding is great but at the end of the day is the support and love that make a wedding sweet..not money alone.

Don't dull your shine so it doesn't hurt someone else's eyes. Charlotte is dropping wisdom.
Okay, the last comment with the Disney references just about made me die from laughing so damn hard. I didn't expect it at all. Best comment ever.
She should just let it go
There are some *really* nice "port-a-potties" on the market now.
‘But ther was a chocolate fountain!’ 😂 why do I find that so funny😂
I just adore your humor! I am also a Virgo, recovering people pleaser and much much more I am healing from!
You are such a delight and you help me get through my days at work and even while I get ready in the morning so I can start my day with humor ! And your humor is quite eclectic! Your inserts between punchlines sometimes have me nearly falling out of my chair cracking TF up!
Keep up your amazing work; you are truly a gem! Thank you for the uplifting addition in a dark world! Much appreciation!
The sheer excitement when she pulls out her justice mallet ✨😂
The best wedding we ever attended was in a small church with a reception in the basement social hall. It was full of love,”catered” by the church members, and so warm and loving that we all were beaming. Every person there except us had known the couple from their birth on. We were invited because my husband was a mentor for the groom and we were truly honored. It really brought home to us what a wedding should be - a chance for your friends and family to witness your marriage and add their joy to your own. The couple is still married, with three beautiful kids, and the Dad has become a very successful person. They remain practical, charitable, and in love.
Love that charlotte has so much fun making these videos that she loses track of how loud she’s being😂😂😂 I relate to this so much. People will be like “why are you yelling!?” And I’m like “I was having fun sorry 😰😰😰”
Fr roomie needs to go to a library or a starbucks like the rest of us or hole up at a friend's, if they have one. Charlotte's job is being a yt creator, they should've known what they signed up for when they moved in
@@lixinxin I feel like it’s a neighbour lol
“Don’t make other people dull their shine so that it doesn’t hurt your eyes” is the best expression I’ve heard in a while
Lol please tell me I'm not the only one who wants to see a t-shirt that says "You can bippity boppity the f**k up!" 🤣😂🤣😂
"Don't make other people dull their shine so it doesn't hurt your eyes." I love that ❤️
"But th... but there is a chocolate fountain!"
Oh Charlotte, we love you so much! I loved the muted trombone a la Charlie Brown sounds, nice detail there!
“That is a petty hill you need to die on!” LOVE IT! 👰🤦♀️👰🏻♀️🤦♀️👰🤦♀️
I have social anixiety but also love when its about me, but only when no one is looking at me, or talking to me, or in the same room as me lol
My parents became Disney people. My dad wanted my mom to have a good memory since the last time she went was before her father passed away.
My dad was going to propose at Disney as a wonderful memory for my mom. But she was starting to get suspicious.... My dad 😂 in order to throw her off his trail said " Disney is the most magical place on earth, for everyone but you!" Lemme just say it worked and they will have their 20th Anneversary this November!
Charlotte: Uninvite her so her wedding its the best she’s ever been 😅 #pettyQueen
Also Char: sister needs to “Let it goooo” 😂
as a petty Disney adult I agree. This episode was gold ❤❤❤🤣🤣🤣
I was feeling queasy after breakfast and I almost didn’t realize that halfway through the video my stomach ache was gone! Thank you Charlotte! Bless you! 💕
She has been ✨healed✨
@@CharlotteDobre😂😂😂
@@CharlotteDobre Indeed, petty wedding drama cures all wounds! ✨
I get tummy aches when I watch lol laughing pains
@@lannah080907 That's the GOOD kind of ache!
Hey, when we laugh, it helps strengthen our core abdominal muscles, so I'm claiming that my daily dose of Charlotte is "exercise".
Whew! just had a real workout! No one needs to know that all I did was a set of diddly-squats! 😂
The Charlie Brown’s teacher was hilarious and I hope that first girl had the wedding of the century and the girl with a chocolate fountain..good for her! That was a really good PETTY revenge! 😂
I'm taking pictures for my best friends wedding in a month, and I'm so confused how there can be people that won't be happy for the people getting married. I'm so stoked that my bestie is getting married and the girl he's getting married to has the same energy and has such a fun personality. I got along with her immediately and can't wait to see how their lives improve in time as they get married. I'm happy for them and just glad to be going at all. Can't wait! It's gonna be a smaller wedding with immediate family and a few more.
I am and have been a huge fan of the late, great Warren Zevon.literally for Decades. I actually met him several times, and have some photos he gave me years ago that were candid family shots: rare and very funny. With the exception of 6 items/special things, my entire collection is in our guest bedroom. IOW....you wanna bunk for free with us, you bunk with my Rock Hero.
I catch a LOT of heat from friends/fam who say "He's DEAD. YOU'RE BEING MORBID!" This from a 29 yr old who (obviously) never met ELVIS, but has 17 paintings of him on BLACK VELVET all over her home, along with souvenirs from Graceland. I KNEW my Hero; and the things I display are One-of-a-kind press photos, autographed posters, Backstage VIP passes he jotted personal jokes, etc. on. AND WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A HANDFUL OF RARE AND SPECIAL ITEMS, THEY'RE ALL IN OUR GUEST ROOM.
STAY AT YOUR OWN PERIL.!
SO I TOTALLY SUPPORT THE DISNEY ADULTS. YOUR HOME *IS* YOUR CASTLE. TELL EM TO P!SS OFF, IF THEY DON'T LIKE THE SUIT OF ARMOR IN THE CORNER!
Just saw this, I'm a Disney adult, thanks 😊
Today's video really made me laugh. That story about the chocolate fountain that made its way across a table to the bride's dress was epic!
I'd tell the sister either she can pay for a porta potty or go find a new place to have her wedding. Her guest can't enter the house now...😂😂😂😂
The comment with the Disney song's 😂😂😂 that person was probably giggling through writing that😂
Exactly. And yes to the Disney song commenter. That was hilarious
The parts when Charlotte gets a call telling her to please be more quiet triggered my social anxiety SO MUCH OMG
It's so telling when someone thinks that you, in your bliss, planning your own wedding, are thinking about them at all.
“Don’t make other people dull their shine so that it doesn’t hurt your eyes”, excellent quote!
Lol when she said we all like the attention on me and I'm like no I have social anxiety and regular anxiety I don't. Then she goes and says it and I'm like yes thank you yes!!
Same
Yes same because I have really bad social anxiety and I’m introverted so I was happy when she said that
"People should be happy for others " absolutely!!
It's good to know Charlotte screams as loudly as I do at some of these AITA stories 😅
Its rlly amusing how such pettiness can make such a great impact in a lot of the people who were involved, and the fact that it brings back ‘fond’ petty memories of mine, one of which I still do.
Is that why you have that profile picture? You're a cunning mastermind who loves petty revenge on petty people?
I love your idea of trophies to those who score as the pettiest, maybe video countdowns and different places/gradients of petty
I have been treated like this my whole life and it's driven me away from everyone. Always offending people, especially family members if I achieved or was too happy for some reason. I hated it. After reoving those people from my life, I am now happier and achieve more.
