Hi sir, your videos are really amazing and very clear with instructions.
I have a doubt regarding my draceana plant and it would be really helpful if you are able to guide me in saving it.
My draceana plant leaves suddenly dropped off and were very soft/ mushy at the starting edge with bit of water-like substance leaking from them. There are still 2 baby leaves intact on the stem top part but the top part is very very soft or mushy.
I generally avoid overwatering it and check the top part of soil before watering. Of the 3 stems in one pot, this issue happened with one of the stem. I am worried if it will affect others as well.

Sir your explanation is very good but somewhere i am making mistake....after putting the cutting in soil the stem cutting gets rotten...the skin of the stem becomes just a hollow cover leaving nothing...the leaves and the stem above the ground becomes very soft and falls off. Plz guide me where i am going wrong.

Hi, this was a very informative and enjoyable video! I have a question though: my boss was given a tri-color dracaena marginata with three heads and it is much smaller than your cuttings (maybe 5 inches of plain step and an inch or 2-4 of the leafy stem part). She over watered it to the point of severe root rot and I took it home with the intent of saving it.
I didn't realize the rot was there, and had put it in a pot with drainage and in succulent soil with perlite, and barely watered it. It just wasn't looking great--the leaves were droopy and flat, not perky--so I took a deeper look at the root system, which was black and mushy. So mad I didn't catch this earlier!
I beheaded it so it has 3 inches of stem, and, under the advice of google, put it in water to grow roots. In your experience, does water propagation work or should I put it in soil? I know it's December and the plant is likely in dormancy, but do I have a shot at saving this guy? I've had a lot of luck with water propagating succulents and Jade trees, but have zero experience with this type of plant, and feel a bit over my head here. I don't know what to do at this point, and I'd love some advice, if you have time :).
