How terrified Felix was when he saw Cormac is how scared I thought Warren may be of Felix when I heard he was arriving. It's like how Brendan was with his abusive father. I'm glad they didn't portray Warren's fear of Felix to that extreme but they have shown Warren to be fearful of Felix to a certain degree as whenever Felix comes back at Warren when he's in his face then Warren backs off & looks nervous. These two I can see having a dynamic similar to the one Brendan & Warren had where they'll come together & have one another's backs on certain things but there's always an underlining willingness to get one over on each other too if an opportunity presents itself. Make no mistake, Warren will probably support Felix through his Cormac problem but Warren & Felix coming to blows is never gonna be too far away either.
@@_______unknown_______ Warren has never been heartless though, he's generally good to good people & he's had empathetic moments like he's had here with Felix with other people before. Maybe Cormac will turn out to be who is in the body bag come New Year`s Eve (unless the Corona situation has forced a complete change to the New Year`s Eve originally planned episode?), and the scene with JP screaming "no" is related to something completely different than the content of the body bag. Hollyoaks is in the habit of doing things like that in the season trailers. Sienna being suggested killed in two different trailers, springs to mind. Should it turn out to be George Kiss who has been killed, that would be so predictable and boringly obvious it would not be worth the trouble of suggesting it as a riddle. But if it is meant to be a surprise revelation, who is in the body bag likely is someone we would not have thought of as a candidate at all. Could it be Darren? Perhaps in an attempt to help Charlie out of the drug gang, got himself killed. Would explain why Charlie was packing his bag with money, ready to flee. Or if JP`s scream is not related to the body bag, maybe the person in it will turn out to be Jordan, or Jordan`s boss in the organisation? Or if it is related to JP, but isn`t George Kiss, could it perhaps be Mercedes? If she, say, discovered the gang was dealing in her pub, she told them to stop - and they didn`t like it. For the same reason anyone from Nana and Goldie to Matthew could have been killed, as a warning to Mercedes not to interfere. Even Luke I suppose could be a logical candidate, if Ollie`s tears and drug use in the toilet was for the loss of his father, who perhaps had been killed cause he was angry over the gang selling drugs to his son? Could perhaps also explain why Ella felt the need to pack her bags and run as well? There are probably more possibilities than these to who the dead body in the body bag will turn out to be? If I had had a say, I would have killed off Jordan`s boss - as the start to a proper whodunit SL set around the investigation and effect of the killing. Anyone from Jordan (who became the new boss), to the parents of the exploited kids, relatives to the drug users and Warren (who because of his kid sister Katy doesn`t like drug dealers very much) - as well as Sid, Juliet, Charlie and more of the exploited by the gang kids themselves - as suspects. The SL being focused both on the investigation, but also how the various wondered if their own kids or parents could be involved in the killing, and therefore held back and kept quiet about more than they revealed to the police about what they knew. Making some of them perhaps holding back information the drug gang would kill to keep a secret... But Hollyoaks seldom do as I hope they will, nor are the Hollyoaks SLs very authentic and logical in design most often. So it would probably end up a similar shambles as the Breda serial killer SL, or the ridiculous hit and run saga. Even the brain-dead shooting of Mercedes, since two shots by two different attempted killers, non of them finishing the job or even trying to help Mercedes, but just leaves, is even more unlikely than one killer firing two shots at someone he/she wants to kill in a closed night club, and the killer therefore could take as much time as needed to make sure the victim was dead before the killer left. So with that in mind I can safely say who I would have had as the killer of the body in the body bag, had that body been the drug dealer boss. I would have made the killer be Charlie, and the motive revenge for Kyle, since Charlie knew enough about Kyle`s drug use to identify that as the main reason Kyle decided to take his own life. In my version Charlie wouldn`t have accepted Sid`s offer to sell drugs to earn money, but because he wanted to find out who was responsible for Kyle`s death, and get revenge for Kyle. A revenge which turned a little bloodier than the handing of Jordan and his boss over to the police Charlie had planned, when the boss started to distrust him, and Charlie had to kill him in self defense. Skateboards can be lethal weapons when applied as a bat by a desperate teenager. But had I been 100% free to choose, I would have skipped the whole body bag thing, and instead had Charlie having been approached by George before Sid approached Charlie and invited him to become a dealer. So after Charlie having been approached by Sid, he sought up George at some secret meeting place, told George he had been right in his speculation the gang would attempt to recruit Charlie because he was vulnerable after Kyle`s death. But it wasn`t Jordan, as George had thought, Charlie told George, but Sid who approached him. Since that places a wrench in machinery to get Jordan arrested, George is disappointed. But he thanks Charlie for his cooperation, and tell him he must tell Sid he is not interested in dealing drugs. But to George`s shock Charlie tells him he has already agreed to become a dealer. Not to sell drugs, but to go undercover, so the entire drug network quicker can be mapped out. George protests he can not allow Charlie to do that, not only is he under age, but also a civilian. But Charlie retort George is not a real police officer, so he doesn`t have to be concerned about that. That shocks George even more. But Charlie quietly explains that he followed George after he had approached him that day, saw who he met - and heard what they talked about. George is shocked: "You followed me?!" "How else would I know if you were genuine, and not a dirty cop recruiting young impressionable kids to deal drugs? You could have been sent by the gang to see if I was safe to recruit, couldn`t you? Instead I discovered you work for the intelligence service," he continues. "Your police job is just a cover when bringing down this gang and their foreign backers." This makes George even more shocked and nervous, and he asks Charlie if he heard everything that was said. First Charlie doesn`t say anything, but then: "You mean did I hear Harry Thompson isn`t dead, but living in witness protection, working as PE teacher on a school, west of Bergen in Norway, because you people suspected Breda of being a henchman for the drug organisation, and therefore Harry would talk if you rescued him after the gang had tried to kill him, so he would tell you all he knew." "Yes, that is what I wondered." George stares at Charlie with an expression somewhere between, shock, fear and awe. "Well, I did," Charlie says, and adds: "So I guess the question of whether or not I will go undercover, is just academical, isn`t it." Charlie undercover, under the reluctant guidance and supervision of George, that is something I would have loved to have seen played out on screen. Having to avoid being discovered not only by the gang, but by JP - cause he probably wouldn`t look too kindly to George using one of his pupils - the son of his good friend and colleague, no less - for dangerous undercover work in a drug gang. But sometimes Charlie had to speak to George face to face, so there could potentially have been some funny scenes of Charlie having to hide in the closet when JP comes home (perhaps when JP is keen to have an intimate moment with George, but George, because of Charlie being in the closet nearby, having to come up with excuses to postpone the event), or some hard to explain lies to cover up for meetings. Maybe even JP would have followed George, and discovered he secretly met up with Charlie. Either way there should have been potential for both humor, drama and suspense in the plentiful with such a spin. And should Harry surface too, that would have made everything perfect, in my eyes. Either by having him return to Hollyoaks, or his father recognized him from a picture or tv clip from Norway. Perhaps the intelligence service had to invent a twin for Harry, since otherwise it would be difficult to explain the identical DNA profile, and Harry Thompson returned to Hollyoaks as his own twin brother meeting up with his long lost family, he has to pretend to be meeting for the first time. I would have loved to see that too. But fear I instead will have to settle for the mystery of whoever is in the body bag on New Year`s Eve.
