    I believe we shouldn’t have to be so careful in our valor stone usage. I feel like it trivializes the lower tier crests. You are discouraged from using your valid stones to upgrade veteran/champion gear in anticipation of hero Track ultimately storing up your valor stones to contribute to upgrading better items. If the valor stones could be used more freely, you could Justify Going 8/8 In veteran/champion gear and improving the likelihood of success and lower keys and easing the introduction for newer players.

    They still didn't tackle the main issue I have with PUG M+: quitters depleting your keys.

      I think that is simply impossible to do and def will cause more harm than good, as much as i despise quitters. They would have to implement a LeaverBuster-esque system like in league. The system might work for a MOBA, but an MMO?
      Like, imagine you are with a full group of friends/guildies doing a 16, and yall wipe twice after one pull rendering the dungeon impossible to clear. You would have to sit through it anyway or wait till the timer went out, else be sniped by a bot. However, i'm not even close to being agame developer, so maybe it could be possible, idk

      Deplete below 12 is gone and a +10 is as hard as a 8 now

      @@konic0 I mean you could implement a "We Quit" button with a vote like in a MOBA game. If you quit outside of that system you should be penalized.

    I do welcome these changes but can we stop for a moment that you (!) all content creators clap while Blizzard introduced the Challenger's Peril in the first place? Nobody asked for it and Blizzard introduced it in Season 1. Now all of you are losing your mind that "wow mega huge, m+ is saved". Like yeah, cool, but again, you are clapping at something which Blizzard introced and now changing (not reverting!)
    edit: I do think there are some awesome changes, especially regarding dungeon timers and mechanics, but most content creators pinpoint how great the Challenger's Peril change which again - didn't exist before and was only introduced in S1 TWW.

      i second this comment, and again i remain of the opinion that challenger's peril should be removed altogether (I tank keys in the 12-14 range) no-one asked for this, not the top end players either

      @@uwuowouwuone ​I don't hink yoou see the issue. Let me explain it to you for better perspective:
      You have a working car. Not perfect, has issues. Then your greedy "I Know everything better" car manufacturer decides to add some feature which not only makes your experience worse, but was entirely introduced by the manufacturer when nobody asked for it.
      Then after 6 - 8 months manufacturer backs out and says "well I guess sorry for this" and changes that feature. They don't remove it, they just change it.
      Should you appreciate when good things happen? - Absolutely
      Now, should you appreciate when someone corrects their mistake and treat it like they are saviors and the "best listening company ever existed" ? - Absolutely NO.
      If you don't see a problem it's fine. I assume you are also fine paying $90 for a store mount, because that fixes the game :)

      @ Just wanted to say the same. I can count on one hand how many times challenger's peril caused any issue on sub 12 keys. It's a good step in the right direction (although again this shouldnt exist if Blizzard didn't want to reinvent the wheel), but it ain't change much for us (I do 14-15 keys).

      The only good step is removing Peril altogether. I'll never be happy until it gets removed, I won't cheer for it being moved higher up the m+ ladder. It's not a fix, it's not a patch, it's a half-arsed change.
      It's like being given a thing you don't want that worsens your life. "But I don't want it" - "Ok sure, then just have it on odd days of the week" - "No, I don't want it at all, thanks" - "Ok, how about just during weekends?" - "I DON'T WANT IT EVER"

    I think terms like mythic plus is saved is a little bit of a stretch. The biggest problem to mythic plus is the barrier to entry. You go from face roll to actually having to plan a strategy with difficult mechanics and very poor introduction for new players, looking to learn them.I feel like mythic 1 to 4 should have training wheels because the average casual player is not prepared.

    Blizz said "From Mythic 2 through 10, each new level will now increase the health and damage of enemies by 7%" but in the table at 01:09 health and damage increase is only of 7% on the first two rows.The rest has an increment above 7% and it grows up to an 12% when you go from m+9 to m+10.

      It's either a typo or they kinda forgot how math works. 7 and 14 are good but after that it's all wrong. a +10 should be 63% but somehow this 7% increase keeps going up and we just end up at 84% That is 21% more than what they are claiming in the post.

    Add a way to earn Myth track gear from high level M+, even with weekly limitations(for example a chance to get it for first the run in the week in each of the dungs), without relying entirely on Vault and then the S2 would nice system wise. Also revert cc not interrupting casts, that was such a crazy bad change for M+ coming into TWW, one of many unfortunetaly

    They haven't removed Timer at all that make M+ still Dogshit and didn't solve at all the main problem get in a group if you are not META

    Great to see they have addressed and made the overall M+ plus experience better. Really digging the no-depletion above 12+ keys and graveyard near each bosses thing (less walking Yeyy). But, still. For someone like me, who plays only M+ and have no interests in raid. We have to wait a whole week to get one Myth track Item. or we are forced to do Mythic raid, which sucks. If they have introduced Myth track items drop at the end of the dungean loots maybe only on high -keys would have been an amazing news!!!!!

    I just desperately want them to revert the enemies going right back to casting after stops.
    The original reason was "It forced a meta"; but its become extremely clear the community will "force a meta" no matter what.

    Mobs scaling was never a problem. Time penalty was never a problem. Mechanics and mobs were never really a problem. Having to apply to a pathetic m5 keys with 2500+ rio and gear 20ilvl above the drops for HOURS with no result - that is the only real PUG problem. Nothing to see here

    Im glad they're improving Mythic+, but Delves are still so much better in terms of flexibility. No timer. Play any role. Play solo. Play with friends. I really enjoy the super chill delve environment. Especially now that we get gilded crests as well. Delves have definitely permanently hurt mythic+ pugs.

    so basically they added the same system that they had before the M+ squish and added the no depletes for 12 and up... i mean its an step foward but there is still a lot of things that should be addresed (ehem ehem, tanks feeling like papers and healers not healing enough) and so much more ofc

    Kind of a hot take, but i prefer the pre war within m+, because yeah you had to do more dungeons to get your ksh or ksm but the jump from each level wasn't as high as it is now and if you found it too easy you could simply go to a higher level. I just miss the old scaling...

    Anyone else think it seems keys have been nerfed too much? I came back to TWW this past week and it only took one week to hit KSM while pugging and I'm not even that good of a player. I remember KSM being an actual challenge in shadowlands and it felt like an achievement after a few weeks of grinding and learning the dungeons. 🤷

    I remember having a quarrel with another youtuber because I thought the revamped M+ system would, from previous experiences, break progression (and, not being the only one, it is in the core of most the other issues), and he became kind of nasty. I'm a bit glad to have been proven right by S1 and the devs now, and very sad because S1 was an absolute mess, unfunny for most people.

    Simply put, a +10 will have the same added difficulty as +8 now. Just add the T/F of a 10.

    Why a +12 still rewarding with a hero gear? ... in my particular case i get bored to make 8 +10 and waith a whole weekend just to have a chance to get the mythic piece that a need

    Is it still timed with key depletion? Yes? Then no. It is not saved.
    They need a version where groups can progress at their own pace and still progress without the pressure of following metas and speed running. I dont give a fuck how casual that sounds, Mythic+ fucking sucks and the PUG community around it makes it worse.

    This seems a little... too easy to me? You're now going to get gilded crests for what is the current equivalent of a +4, and that +4 equivalent will also be easier because of nerfed mechanics and you'll have access to better gear before attempting one. Individually I agree with most of these changes but combined they look like they have the potential to turn everything under a +10 into a faceroll.

      @ There's a difference between making things easier and too easy. I agree that current M+ is a little too punishing but I'm also detecting a lot of laziness and entitlement in the community from players who just want everything handed to them on a platter and Blizzard catering to that a litttle too much. M+ is *supposed* to be tough and the 5-man equivalent of raiding. If you don't want to get into that that's fine, play delves/ raid finder/ heroic or "normal" mythic dungeons/ world quests. Or hell, even lower mythic keys, +2 and +3 can pretty much be cleared by anyone with an ilvl of around 600 without paying attention to interrupts and swirlies/ other mechanics being forgiving enough to be healed/ mitigated through as long as you're not totally asleep. +4 and up is where you'll need to start paying attention and pulling your weight.
      This treshold is now being pushed to +7 and as I mentioned, having better gear available before you attempt it and mechanics being more lenient wil push that back to +8 or even +9. M+ progression in TWW was meant to be from +2 to +12 with anything beyond that being bragging rights because rewards stop becoming better after that point and it was supposed to be so hard that only the top 1% of players could clear them anyway. Now it looks like +12 might be the point where the challenge actually *begins* but there's no rewards besides bragging rights and leaderboards to entice players into attempting +13 and up.
      And that's a problem. Because if everyone fully clears +12 within weeks of the season starting engagement will drop dramatically starting week 4 or 5. Not out of frustration like in this season but because of boredom and the lack of incentive to push further.
      Well, that become a lot longer than I intended, hope you don't mind my wall of text.

    Hehe now M+ become / Mythic delve variation , all inside been nerffed for skilled key Pushers* lol now can be possible whit green gear to push keys lol . blizzard need to make also minimum item level to enter in given key level , because if stays alot players ( Casuals and Delvers etc. ) will just push to 7+ and GG Wp no point now to push . More crests left when even fail , in Delves you have 3 lives for 11 but of course you need to have Gear , Control , Survive , Experience in PvE and mostly some sort of skills to be as DPS, Healer or Tank in 11s Solo .
    Delves makes players happy , inside you can learn how to be ok for M+ even whit No Add-ons and be the Last man Standing...!and the players will wonder about your hard work and cool gear lvl

    All of these people complaining about key depletion... Just try to imagine how many people having their key carried by better players in their group then them being stuck with a key too high for their ability. Pugging will only become that much harder. People leaving keys early because of dog shit players will only get worse. Key depletion seems like a necessary evil. Mythic plus is supposed to be fundamentally challenging. It literally scales infinitely 🤷

    Doesn't matter what they change about loot and timers..
    M+ is fking boring.
    They need to change all dungeons every week.
    Change how you get keystone master..
    Also they need to stop caring about fucking e sports and caring more about fun..
    Change the dungeons inside..Change where you spawn..
    Give us more dungeons that you can choose which boss you start like mechagon..
    This game is boring as hell because devs and dev leads are some BORING people without any imagination.

    y that will literally not change alot. still hundreds of ppl for same key. still any kind of meta. still sitting around challenge in town doing nothing. m+ squish to lvl 10 is "kinda high" was worst thing they have done. ppl from 9 are too unexperienced. so u have same shit as always. i guess blizzard guys dont play themself so they dont see the big issues. just trying to change ANYTHING which sounds good but too afraid to really take a stand.

    I think these are great changes but key depletion across the board feels bad and a majority of the players that pug aren’t doing +12 and above.
    Tons of trolls in 2-10 where key depletion is a pain in the butt

    idk, from my point of view +12s shouldn't be for everybody. players who don't want to invest their time so much in m+ can easily do a few lower key levels now, they also have delves, raid finder or even normal. but the direction seems to be for everybody to get to +12s which is not normal. those key levels are for ppl who really push m+. the more casual players still get to experience m+, but at lower keys. it doesn't seem fair to give everybody such an easy access to +12s and top gear. this makes the achievements of truly dedicated m+ pushers worthless

    Looks like nothing has changed was watching some ppl from method doing the new dg and they had like 30 deaths before second boss every pull they did had no more than 6 mobs and it felt that had a boss on every single one of them

    These changes are great, but blizzard keeps avoiding the biggest W they can possibly get. REMOVE. KEY. DEPLETION.
    It is not fun, it simply punishes pug players for no reason.

      It is removed at +12 and higher. If you have issues at lower levels, then you might be even part of the problem yourself.
      The main issue is: Why should you be pushing in the first place when there are no proper rewards whatsoever. M+ lacks purpose.
