I have noticed that too, the same price is the price of things a couple of years ago! Even my sons bus fare to college since the cap was lifted, it now works out more expensive than what a return ticket was.

What a wonderful family you have and they are so lucky to have you as their mum/wife. It was so lovely to get a glimpse of your Christmas and it brought back so many happy memories of the ones we used to have when our children and then the grandchildren were young. I love your Adidas. I have the same ones in bright blue. I also love the pops of red in your kitchen. I have had red and sage green touches in my kitchen for years, and have never gotten tired of it.
Great to see you all back. You did make me laugh about the scales. You just need to set the scales to 0 when the bowl is on the scales then put your ingredients in to weigh them as normal. You certainly brighten my day Rosie.... its called Mummy brain. When you get to my age it's the menopause lol. Love the trainers. I've got a bright pink pair of Adidas and i love them. Yes, the digital scales are much easier and less math than the one you got because of the tare function (how you set it to zero with something on the scale). You can put your bowl on, hit tare, add your flour (eg) to the specified weight. If you’re trying to measure out several things, you then hit tare again, it will reset to zero, then you can weigh the next ingredient into the same bowl without having to do any math at all. ❤

Your Christmas looked amazing. Loved seeing the older kids with Albert 🥰. You are such brilliant parents.
When you put your bowl on the digital scales you zero it and the beauty is you can zero it everytime you add something, so you add butter straight to sugar without tipping into other bowls etc. The habitat old school ones are lovely though. You've set me off on a Morris phase Sainsbury's are just putting in all the newness and Next too. Happy New Year too 😊x

You don’t have to work out the weight of the bowl on digital scales!! You put the bowl on then press zero so when you put your ingredients in you’re weighing from zero. They are very easy to use and the most accurate.
