USA has 16 Olympic Gold Medals, Soviet Union 2, Yugoslavia 1 and Argentina 1. Soviet Union and Yugoslavia don't exist anymore and Argentina didn't qualify this year. I'm from Europe/Switzerland but I don't see a problem for you guys.
Me being from Switzerland/Europe I really like that there are European players in the NBA to root for. But the whole of Europe has double the population of the US and there are barely 15% European Players in the NBA. There isn't really a problem for you guys.
I don’t love woj but my issue was with shams I was getting twitter notis about the picks before the pick was ever in. I get that he’s not part of ESPN so ig it’s not that bad but I do think woj was better on twitter this year than before.
Everybody who's not from one of the countries in the tournament, still roots for Team USA, the few people into basketball all watch the NBA. I couldn't tell you who our national champion in Switzerland is or if there's even a TV station broadcasting the Euro League.
