I am very grateful to have received keys to play some of these games. I’ve made sure to disclose in the video and in the this description which games those are. This does mean this video is now an Ad per CPA's new influencer guidance. But this was not a paid partnership and all views are our own.

such a detailed ranking of cozy games!! as a cozy gamer myself this video is very informational to me as i finally found another game to play after finishing OOBLETS!!! (I AGREE, IT'S DEFINITELY S TIER) I enjoyed it so much and loved everything about it. :)
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it and I’m so glad you love Ooblets as much as me 💖 what game did you see that you’re going to play after Ooblets? 👀
Thank you for ranking Fabledom! The 1.0 update is coming soon, we can't wait to share with you the new features! 🥰
I look forward to it!! I’ll definitely be playing it again at 1.0 to see all the new updates 💖
@@Cozygamingclub same :) i really enjoyed it but really wanted more.
HI Ellieeeee !!! I adore ya. This is a great video!! You did a great job briefly sharing about each game ☺
I have heard amazing things about Cattails! I need to try it out for myself!!
Also interested in Dolphin Tails too... which I think I heard about from one of your other videos!
I HATED Lakeburg Legacies so I think it's so funny that you really enjoyed it. I love that we all experience the games differently lol!
You played SO many games! So glad to see what you thought of all of these games!
Thank you Min! I tried to keep this a bit shorter for each review so it didn’t go on for 5 hours 😂
I think I just love management games and that’s why I enjoyed Lakeburg! I didn’t enjoy the matchmaking though and ended up just taking photos to speed through it as quickly as possible 🙈
Fantastic list Ellie! Great job! It's so interesting to see your rankings compared to where I'd rank them.
I’m intrigued to see what you would rank differently now 👀
I appreciate your honest reviews! I agree that Fae Farm is A tier for me as well, regardless of the price. For me, it is worth the price, even with the NPCs lacking nuance and depth. I have never played a game like it- I love the quality of life details they have in the game- it is so easy to play and frustration free. I love the aesthetic, love the mining, magic, exploration, decoration. It is just a win all around for me.
I watch ton of cozy UA-camrs, but I have to say that I find your energy and your taste in game super refreshing and I’m definitely subscribing and coming back for more.❤
That’s so nice of you to say! Thank you so much, Grace. It’s lovely to have you in the Cozy Club 💖
Great list, that's so many games! Of the ones I've played, Dave the Diver, Powerwash Simulator, Lakeburg Legacies, Fae Farm (w/ all its flaws), and Spirittea (also w/ its flaws) are top S or A rank for me.
Others I really enjoyed in 2023 are While the Iron's Hot, Growth, Jusant, Station to Station, and (if these count as cozy) Cocoon and Thirsty Suitors.
Oooh I wasn’t sure about Jusant but two people have told me it’s S tier now so I should really try it! I also have While the Iron’s Hot but just haven’t been able to play it yet. Too many games too little time! 😅
SO happy to see Dredge in your S tier! It is my game of 2023 I loved it so much!
It’s honestly so fabby! I wish I wasn’t such a wimp so I could play it properly but the passive mode has helped me get my fishing in.
I really enjoyed your ranking and logic. Great tier video.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great vid ty - Wildmender is def worth some time
Thank you for the recommendation! I was a little concerned about the survival mechanics in that game. Are they really punishing?
@@Cozygamingclub No, they're pretty mellow - full disclosue, I work for the publisher but over 1k + Steam reviews and loads of fans say the same thing. Keen to see what you think. Ty
Just started The Wild at Heart, its already S Tier for me 😀
It’s so good right?! I really loved what I’ve played of it so far
hi! snacko dev here. I'm curious what version of the game you played (roughly how long ago)/how far you progressed in the game that you found there to be a lack of content? There's quite a lot of content in our current EA build, so I'm kind of surprised to hear that. I'm hoping you just missed it all in your playthrough >_>
Hi there and of course. I really have been so excited for Snacko and hopefully I just missed everything! If it helps, I played mainly on launch day or the day after and I’m happy to send a breakdown of what I did each day if that helps too 😊
From my point of view, the first few days were a lot of cutscenes, a lot of farming and a lot of clearing things from your farmland. I also distinctly remember that when I tried to communicate with my townsfolk they just repeated the same thing, which was sad for a town focused game.
I found the first shrine super simple and when I encountered the obelisk, I was hoping for more than just clicking to activate it. The second shrine in comparison was so difficult to navigate - I think I spent over 15 mins just skating on those sand tracks 😅
I also wasted so many days trying to find cloth to build my grocers house (which may be why I didn’t get to experience as much). It was only after I asked in the discord that I worked it out and finally managed to build it on day 8, I think? But when my grocer arrived their shop menu was empty for some reason. So I set out to try to find the rubies in the desert but didn’t have much luck with that either. I feel like I searched everywhere for a second chest but couldn’t find it.
Essentially it was a lot of grinding to collect stuff early in the game, it wasn’t super obvious how to find some items like the cloth and the rubies, and the interesting story parts were over quickly. I did unlock the MIAOs which add a bit more to your day though!
I am still very hopeful for the future of Snacko, because the town building and customisation elements were so good and I will definitely be returning to it in the future for full release.
I’d be happy to discuss any more questions you have or expand on anything regarding my experience! My email is in my about section if you want to get in touch to discuss anything further 😊
@@Cozygamingclub Oh yeah, launch week was pure pain for us, so your experience sounds accurate 🥴
The MIAO & MSQ weren't properly tied together, so it was easy for people to quickly feel lost with the direction the game was going in. We've since expanded on the progression & obelisks; everything ties together in a way that brings you through all of the content without finishing either side too soon! It takes players around 19-24 days to finish the first Obelisk now.
We also had tons of NPC-related bugs ;; villagers repeating the same line over and over was a bug that we weren't aware of until people started mentioning that as feedback, lmao ;; there's a ton of dialogue and work that we put into the villagers, so this one was REALLY sad for us to have happened at EA launch. Shops were also broken/empty for some villagers, which it also sounds like you experienced 😭
Thanks for your experience, the feedback & the support 🙏 we really do listen to it all - it really teaches us a lot! I hope your next playthrough goes well ^^
@recursive529 I’m sorry to hear your launch week went badly, but it’s awesome to hear that you’ve already fixed so many of the issues I had!
I look forward to trying it again in the future 😊
The fact that this goes in alphabetical order is really satisfying 😌
Thank you!! I thought that was the best way to do it to keep everything fair 🥰
Moonlight in garland you have labeled as minekos night market. Just FYI 😊
Oh no 🙈 I knew I’d miss one of them! Thank you 💕
IMO it's not really fair to punish a game dev because the publisher said something dumb on Twitter (re: Spirittea)
I understand that, but the sad truth is that external factors can affect how much you enjoy something.
It’s unfortunate that this happened and it’s not fair on the developers, but I also don’t want to lie to my community and say I still enjoy this game when I can’t motivate myself to pick it up and finish it. Transparency and honesty are super important to me.
