It's so cool that they used his likeness for Peter Parker in the 90's Spider-Man animated series. I rarely see anyone mention it, but it's clear as day with a side by side comparison. His natural charm and humble demeanor absolutely fit the role of Parker, and I hold great affection to the 1977 series and his portrayal of the character.
Never thought of that but you're right they look quite similar!
I figured they did I wish they had him do the voiceover.
They should've let Nicholas Hammond play Peter Parker's Uncle Ben in the 2002 Spiderman film.
Sorry cliff Robertson was chosen to play ben parker on the 2002 spider man movie
Maybe they should do it in the MCU instead , maybe in some flashback where Peter Parker remembers his memories with uncle Ben ?
Or maybe in some new Sony Spider-Man universe
It wouldve been crazy if Nicholas Hammond made an appearance briefly along side of Tobey and Andrew in No Way Home ❤❤❤
My childhood Spider-Man!
Saw him in the First Spider-Man film "Spider-Man Strikes Back"!
He should DEFINITELY have been in "No Way Home", even if it was just a cameo!!
🤔
Bill Bixby attempted to persuade Nicholas Hammond to make a Hulk-Spiderman crossover but it sadly never got to a development stage. He looks very good at 73. The fact that he made a Blaxploitation movie makes me love him more.
Would have been amazing to see that crossover, here at Kapow love all cinema so it was very fun to bring up that Blaxplotation film.
That would have been good 😢
He should've been in No Way Home
Damn Straight
I’m glad that he’s finally getting the respect for playing Spider-Man. He may not have been the greatest or the most well known but he definitely did a decent job bring the character to life for the first time in the 70s.
It was a great opportunity to chat with him!
Bro he's on the list off best Spider-Man actor's I don't care what anyone says.
@@JLOCC23424I agree. I was born in 89 but i recently discovered the show. And I love it. I made a copy for myself of the show because no one is smart and releasing it. Has my second favorite Spider-Man after tobey maguire.
Would loooooove to see him in the MCU. C'MON! My first Spider-Man.
Nicholas is perfect to play Ezekiel Sims. A character who also had spider-like powers and was mentor to Peter Parker.
So happy to see him he was my childhood hero back in the 70s
Nick gave his answer to would u return. If Hollywood doesn't want him to reprise the role, it's on them
In my opinion he was the best spider-man I watched him as a kid way before I saw Toby Maguire I’m 26 now, currently watching spiderman strikes back 1978, I’m currently learning to ride a motorcycle and it was probably this film as a kid that made me want a motorcycle, where they “test drive” the bikes and obviously a kid seeing spider-man/Peter Parker get on a motorcycle was very cool 😎.
Toby has the best lines
Amazing interview, always wanted to know how he felt for his movies like Spiderman and Black Cobra.
Cheers Gabriel, let me know who else you'd want us to interview you never know who might turn up.
I'm so fond of Nicholas Hammond, along with Bill Bixby and Roddy McDowall who are also part of a former generation of actors. I am feeling so sad he was not taken for playing in No Way Home. I feel a little disgusted because of it, even if NWH is a great movie though unfinnished in my eyes because of Nicholas Hammond's absence.
He still wanted to play as spiderman
He’ll always be Peter Parker to me.
If they don’t get this guy to play uncle ben it’s a tragedy
Totally!
They should bring him back to play the MCU's Uncle Ben for Tom Holland
The Australian Spidey
Nicholas sounds a little like Anthony Daniels here.
👎
Why did you put a thumb down?
Shut up
@@kunkkufaniProbably Has No Life Lmfao 😂😂
He has a American-Australian accent. Here it's more American. I've seen him on Australian tv with more of an Australian accent.
