rick hunolt and gary holt are important just like hanneman/king or downing/tipton.period.they both were good players from the first album, they just developed and invented that "wall"¡¡¡¡and as usual..thier guitar tones are amazing
He was always my favorite between he and Gary he was the more technical player and his sound was just so raw and nasty he's definitely got chops another great player that never got the credit he deserved.
I got some recordings from 2001 live where he played a simple SG and a Mesa. Even pre Tempo 2004 with the modded JCM 800s. I Always dug the lesser gain approach. In the end it's a matter of taste and the Art of using the Gear you got. BBBC! Shaking your Guts to the Bassline (Tommy Vance) with a Merciful Fate Riff and a Discharge drumbeat (Tom). Be Safe, l&r.
I never thought I would see the day the H Team would split. Now I can't believe they are actually playing together again! Lee is awesome but Rick should be back in the band. I love the song and I'm glad they're playing something from Impact, but I don't get why they're playing Only Death Decides. That was 5 years and three albums after Paul was out of the band.
Rick was always my favorite between he and Gary he was just more technical his sound was more nasty and raw. I met him at a club show in North Carolina back in the early 90s was Exodus, Body Count and Testament if i remember correctly he was cool as shit did bunch of shots played a game of foosball and talked gear and guitars, but anyways good to see him out there and still playing.
That's an odd song to dedicate to Paul Baloff as that song made him uncomfortable when he had to sing it. Then again, he was paranoid of people around when he was trying to do a drug deal in the back of the bus. 😆
Is it just me or did Ricks hair loss problems get reduced? He must be using a laser helmet or propecia, or rogaine or derma roller or some combination? Or maybe he got a hair transplant?
@@slashmaster2 being addicted absolutely does, he had severe drug issues, and he was going through a lot emotionally and personally before he left the band. he was all sorts of fucked up

The H-team🤘🏻 they've always sounded tight together
One of heaviest exodus song. I love this.
I don't think there is any better sound than Rick's Jackson and Mesa Boogie his tone is phenomenal

His Bernie Rico Jr Alias guitar and Gary's BRJr Vixen are crazy

Rick should do guest guitar work for an Exodus album
You should pick up a copy of Persona Non Grata, and read the guitar solo credits for Lunatic Liar Lord 😉

R.I.P. Paul Baloff ......"Is the gang of super heavy ready?" .......

he was using drugs a lot before, he probably just improved mentally altogether since he got clean
@@jungleblobs5225 I don't believe getting high in any way causes hairloss problems.

Where's Kirk ?
He got thrown in prison for having a bunch of stolen gear! 🤷🏼♂️
Who’s that on drums? Doesn’t look much like Tom Hunting to me :/
That's Tom alright---he recently recovered from cancer and all that goes with it.
Why so heavy?
Yawn fest! Sounding the same for 35 yrs
So you want them to go Rap metal? Shut the hell up with that "yawn fest" shit.
You weren't there during the 80s f'n poser.
GOOD!
I've met Rick
