I like how HO is getting more and more diverse, but not forcing it. The 2nd Asian family to be added in the last few years, and like the Maaliks, they are very interesting and entertaining!

@@ChelseyLinden The Maaliks joined in 2017, current family members living in the village are Misbah Maalik, Imran Maalik and Yasmine Cunningham (née Maalik), whilst Farrah Maalik and Sami Maalik also used to live there :)
@@drillnewsandclips3798 OA I know I remember when they first moved in however the Maalik’s seem more like they’re Idonisian like they’re from India according to their outfits they wore when the dresses and the things they wear on their foreheads and when Misbah told them what happened between Ali and her Years ago.
They need to make Hollyoaks 1 hour long just like USA soaps 🔥😍
I couldn't imagine how the actors and film crew would find the time or energy to film each episode for an hour.

Air 1 hour long episodes 4 to 3 days a week Instead airing 20 minutes 5 days a week
@@meee2530 Still doesn't answer how they'd all cope with the extra workload. Five half hour episodes a week is pretty full on as it is. Taking that up to eight or nine episodes a week sounds like far too much. You have to think of the practicalities for the scriptwriters, crew and actors.
Me Ee OA I totally agree but I don’t think they’ll have enough film time or crew for one of those every Week.

I love Hollyoaks having families like the Maaliks,Chen-Williams its cool celebrating their traditions.Serena and Sid have this crazy amazing chemistry they belong together.

jwsm2 The McQueen’s are my number one favorite Family (except for Breda and that psychopath Matthew) but the Maalik’s are my second favorite Family in the village and now the Chen-Williams are my third (except for Dave I still think he’s the piece who fits the “Who Ran Over Warren?” puzzle) I hope this Family will make her one of them. I totally agree, however (lol)...... I absolutely love my soaps: EastEnders; Hollyoaks; and the others on and off. Anyway, ethnicity wise I'm half English and half Romany Gypsy, and I've never once in my life (I'm 29) seen a representation (be it good or a horrible stereotype) of someone/a family of full or mixed Romany heritage, never, and we've been in the UK for 500 years now.
It's great that it's more inclusive but there's still a fair distance to go yet (in my opinion).
Hollyoaks keeps putting people together that I don't like together 🙄 it's annoying lol

"Get over yourself", as if she were to suppress her feelings towards two people who have lied to her for years. no dear, it doesn't work like that. The man she considers a father, who has always told her NOT to lie, hid something, or rather someone, and pretended that she did not tell the truth to the other members of the family. I'm sorry but there is NO "get over yourself", no one can tell you what to feel right now. Not everyone is happy to find brothers and sisters coming out of nowhere, especially if the man has never mentioned them.

Oh my OA I really just wish Serena would’ve told Sidney about how she feels sooner they have way better chemistry than Lizzie and Sidney. OA I’m glad to see that Mason’s back on screen but I wish they’d give Sam screen time as well I really like Sam he can do better with someone besides Celeste (even though Celeste is dead) but still I think Sam can do better.
