Hi all!
So it's been a good while since I've done a pop tune and this guy has been stuck in my head ever since I saw a bunch of requests for it on some older videos, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I love working with acapellas because it kind of knocks on the idea of "what if there was a metal band backing the vocalist instead" sorta thing. Thanks for everything! It means the world. I don't think people understand how difficult that transition into the first hook from 0:38 - 0:43 really is. You need to build a progression, hit the high note, sustain it, then transition back into the rhythm guitar chords without missing a single beat or holding the high note longer than the singer does. This is more than a cover where someone just assigns chords to a song's melody it's an actual re-imagining of the song with customized transitions for each part. This guy's musicality is off the charts.
