Hi Tim! Merry Christmas! Thanks for featuring me 😊 I think you did the right thing consulting a PT. I am in my final weeks before my next marathon (Houston) and having experienced an injury in November that prevented me from running for close to 3 weeks, I am not expecting any PR this time. I also concluded that I need some expert guidance on my weaknesses and mobility issues that might not be obvious to me and with age injuries are taking long to recover from. I already got a referral for a PT from my doctor, and I will go see for an evaluation a few weeks after the marathon before starting another training next year. I do love Mercury Track Pants from Janji. So soft and confortable that it can be used as a daily comfort clothing item. I also have their Transit Tech Pants (much lighter and thinner for spring use) and Groundwork Tight (full length). With the Janji Strava challenge discount code, I had ordered another Groundwork Tight (previous season's discounted model), but it got cancelled. I was disappointed but Janji customer service, without even asking for, emailed me a gift card code that allowed me to order current season's Groundwork tight at about the same price. Great customer service! Take care and best wishes!
Hey no problem. I appreciate you keeping the conversation going! Good luck with your up coming Marathon. I missed out on the discount but I’ll be on the lookout for future ones. I am looking to pickup a little more gear. Have a great day!
Merry Christmas, Tim! Thanks for the video. My niece who is a PT just gave me some hip mobility exercises today! I too am in my mid 50s and i need to stay i need to stay injury free
have several Janji products and they are all fabulous. Just ordered my first pair of Rabbit shorts because they were on sale and couldn't resist the price. Regardless you won't go wrong with Jangi tops or bottoms.
Not heard of Janji before - will check them out. I am in a similar position. I need to fix some nagging injuries (Knee, Achilles) prior to starting training block in Feb. Just started the “kneesovertoesguy” program to fix the knees. Have 6 half’s planned for next year. Good luck with ur Boston training block!
That’s a lot of races scheduled! That’s awesome. Janji is a little pricey but I love their gear. Good luck with your training and working out all of the kinks. Have a great day.

Hi Tim, interested in your feedback on half tights. Have you used the Wolaco distance half tights?
Hey David. No I haven’t tried them out. I’ll check them out though. Thanks for the tip. Have a great day!
