His awesome act is one thing, freaking 9 years old. But it's amazing he is bringing all these young magicians with him. Inspiring other young magicians, but also inspiring older magicians with this act. We're going to see him a lot more in the future.
Love seeing kids with this much talent because you just know they're gonna grow up to be one of the best in their field. Imagine this kid by age 30 after another 20 years of experience... He'll be insane.
Not only was the magic amazing but he also has great stage presence and personality. I hope he continues to pursue magic coz if this is him now imagine the future!

Even if he didn't make it to the finals, you don't have to win a show to be successful! The most important thing is that he has a lot of fun when he's on stage. I'm sure he'll be on stage more often at other events and enchant people. Maybe one day he will do a tour through Europe and Germany.

When he revealed the 5th and 6th sides, notice how it’s just the same sides and 1st and second but from a different angle, the centre square of a rubix cube never changes colour so he never showed the WHITE and YELLOW sides, Why?? Because if you go to 1:44 you can see the bottom side doesn’t match up

When he takes the cube from the judges and places it next to the cube he is holding, the artificial face attaches to the judge's cube. Then he simply presents the cubes to the audience with similar "faces". BTW you can also see the secret pouch he put the rubix cube in when he placed it in the box and it magically disappeared.
Special rubik'd cube, it changed the colour to match with other one from his left hand. When Simon mixed the cube the side facing up show 5 orange colour next to each other, then green (2) and white(2). However, when you compare the two cubs that particular pattern has gone.
It is super easy to see the trick!!!! Please see the cube when he is holding both of them at the moment he received them from Simon. See the orange color order. See the oranges when he is showing both to judges. He changed the order of the one he got from Simon. Why everyone got surprised by this simple trick!!!
One of the best feats of Magic / Illusionism or whatever you want to label what we just witnessed. The development of this act is at a level I'm not sure I will ever fully understand or be able to explain. I for one will never forget this magical experience as long as I live. AND HE IS 9 YEARS OLD!!! (Put this in perspective ... just what is this young man really capable of???) (Will he be the subject of the next 007 Movie?) @@lordpuller2226 ...the judges were obviously in on the act. This is very common with magic acts that the stage workers all know how most of the tricks, barring slight of hand, are done. All they would have to do really is remember a few algorithms each and then voila. But your explanation is good too. As far as doing it oneself...yeah, not everyone is into being on stage to a massive audience. Also, not everyone is a 9 year old so they're obviously going to be nicer to the kid even though the act is pretty naff for any adult. We just can see through the tricks...maybe Kweli actually believes in unicorns sliding down rainbows and fairies and the magic in these acts is actually real. The first rubik cube trick with that guy producing a picture of a movie star were just posters in a rubik cube looking way...magic has explanations, nothing wrong with searching for how they did it. A lot of commenters on here are brain dead though.

If there is a chance for a wild card before the show and this year I would love to see Ryder and his young magician club take a wild card spot I think he is incredible I just 9 years old. I don’t think he should’ve gone home. Also just being a 9 year old musician is crazy.
When Simon gives him the cube back and he holds them both up in each hand you can see they DON'T match. When he brings them together he does something to the cube to align them. Maybe the cube has a secret switch he presses to flip it to the same pattern as the other one. Great trick though, well done 👌🏻
Hardly even a great trick. Would’ve been better if he hadn’t given it away, kept looking at it, which probably made most people notice he hadn’t done anything. The sides weren’t even matching and he kept showing the same sides saying they were different😂

@@lordpuller2226 I explain it differently. You can watch each judge and they only turn it in one plane. So there are only 3 layers turning. The cube is rigged to prevent turning in the other planes. When Simon has his eyes closed he is doing something to take cues from the cube to line up the 3 planes correctly, there is some magnet or click that tells him they are lined up. So the judges are in on it.
@@mark2073 The problem with that theory is that in the vid you can actually see two different sides of the rubix cube BEFORE it is handed to Ryland and combined together. The two sides look completely different from the sides Ryland eventually shows. So Ryland's second cube must have several false fronts.
Decent magic act, but you will notice that the cube only has 4 matching sides. He re shows the same sides twice. The first one and then 5th one, for example, just at different orientations. His hands stay in the same place and he does a fancy movement to make it look like he changed the sides. Still impressive though.
at 1:22 you see that the cube in his right hand ...one side has three red spots in a raw and one side has five orange , 2 white and 2 green spots....later both sides are gone.....match one and match five are the same ....and match three and match six are the same
