Perfect timing for this video. I’m just about to order an M8 but I haven’t found a 100% definitive answer on the M10 and M8 differences. Not even Alpinestars customer service answered me very well. I’m sold on the M8 now. Thanks guys!
For Mx I’d go with the m8 and save a few bucks, for enduro or adventure where I have to wear a helmet for long periods of time I’d spring for the m10. The m8 is pretty light as is.
Do the replacement cheek pads fit any helmet size?? Help. Got a size large and fits awesome except the cheek pads fit me huge and I can’t barely take the helmet off without tearing out the cheek pads first.
There is an additional cheek pad set that is 5mm thicker for a tighter fit but I would contact Alpinestars directly to see if there is a smaller set available.
Damn. If I only I could actually afford the newer gear that keeps releasing. I'm only starting to ride and where on a £50 pound budget to find a decent outfit to match my Yamaha 🤣
We don't sell Airoh helmets and I've never worn one so I can't answer that for you. But I have worn the M10 and it's a very well-built, lightweight helmet that is comfortable with some great safety features. - Chase
-1 Thumbs down for this helmet, they're beautiful and extremely light but after owning one for 2 months I discovered how brittle they are. After 4 rides with no crashes mine has chunks breaking off the chin bar and Alpinestars refuses to honor the warranty. Furious that a $500 helmet isnt half as durable as my cheap Fox helmet which last several years.

The only difference is the M10 has more carbon fiber/less weight.

Miras Khakimzhan yep thanks. I bought the M8 last year. I like it very much.
m8 and m10 has only 40g weight difference.
The amount of work going into these things.
It's pretty insane. There's a reason they take upwards of 5 years to get it right. Thanks for watching!-Chase
Pretty impressive. The looks are growing on me too. This will be my next helmet for sure.
Good timing on the video, I've been looking for a new helmet and will definitely have to look at this one. Keep it up!
Awesome glad it helped you! Thanks for watching!
Does it come with second visor or only m10's have it included in the package ?
Does size s work with armega glasses?
Is the fitment size same as the alpinestars sm5 on the sm8??
Just ordered this beast
Nice!
Cool helmet
Hi this is Hansraj from India 🇮🇳. I want to ask does the front fender of SM8 can be purchased separately? If yes then where to find
We do not sell replacement visors but they are available to purchase directly from Alpinestars and a couple other online retailers.
can the visor pop off at high speeds, like 120 kmph?
No, it should not come off at those speeds.

I just wanna make sure, does the extra carbon fiber in the M10 offers better protection than the M8, or is it just more lightweight?
It's really just about weight. Both are equally safe. - Chase
I need a Dual Sport version of this helmet.
Check out the Krios Pro from Klim. Lightest ADV helmet we carry. Little pricey but it's pretty rad!-Chase
Is bilt a good dirtbike brand
never heard of it
No, it's a very entry level gear. It's not expensive and only gives the most basic amount of protection
Looks like 6d finally has some competition
Yes sir. Fly has their new Formula helmet out now too. We'll have a video up for it soon. Astars did a great job with this helmet-Chase

This or Airoh aviator ace?
