Impact Soundworks contacted me to see if I would like to try out their latest addition, "ALTERA KEYS". Having owned some of their products already I couldn't resist!.
Amazing DX7, Rhodes, JD800 sounds and it can be used with the free version of Native Instruments Kontakt Player 7.
This is a product that I will continue to incorporate into future works :)

I learn songs by ear and enjoy sharing what i have learnt.
I liked the altera stuff; sadly it's a bit too expensive for the hobbyist like me :P

Also I'm not sure what the song was you were playing using the DreamX7 samples but oh wow that was awesome. It really had a Giorgio Moroder/Electric Dreams vibe.
This chord sequence for that pad reminds me of the movie background track you hear occasionally in particular in electric dreams when Miles is waken by the computer and grabs the baseball bat … if you listen carefully…. It sounds so relaxing on film :)
Altera Rose sounds so sweet.
What notation app is that? It's cool that it transcribes as you play.
It’s Logic Pro using the score view … I did a screen capture whilst I filmed the video and then cropped and layered it over the original video. I get asked this quite a lot perhaps I should do a video on how I do it
