Another beautiful piece & design you've shared...thanks so much for ALL your videos, I've learned pretty much all I know from you!! You are so talented & a great teacher. Can't wait for wave of more creations from you. xoxo
You are my favorite YT' teacher. It's very easy to follow. I'm so new that I have to stop and do watch ore and stop and do until it becomes natural. Are you left handd? I have started on the left hand like you....dee
DeeLightful Co Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. That's great, whatever works for you. I learned very much in a similar way in the beginning. No actually I'm right handed, but for some reason I find it more natural to start on my left side. I do the same when I do kumihimo, I start with my top left cord, I have no idea why lol :-)
After starting out with your basic intertwining herringbone macramé bracelet, I decided to give this beaded version a go. It wasn't long before I was confused by the fact that, when doing the half hitches that make up the outer curved sections that wrap around the 3mm beads, you switched which cord becomes the holding cord. Or did I miss something? I was jumping back and forth between the two videos, and got hung up on that part. I had assumed that the beaded version would be done just like the non-beaded, but nay, nay, it is not so. Why the difference? Is it because of where you want the smaller beads to sit? I'm too new to this to know without asking. Thank you in advance! Oh, and by the way, my first bracelet, the non-beaded version, turned out beautifully in spite of my ineptitude. My hairdresser fell in love with it so I gave it to her. It made us both happy!
+Is4cats2many That's well spotted. I actually hadn't thought of that myself. I didn't purposely choose it to be opposite, it's just how it ended up because I wanted the beads to be on the 'outside' . To be honest there is nothing stopping you from doing it the other way around, if you feel more comfortable with that. It will just give a slightly different look. That sounds so great about the other bracelet. I'm really glad to hear that :-)
U didn't say "so let's get started" like u do in every video I just love💞 ur accent💞 u said stay tuned n let get ready instead 😊 lol what up with that? 😜 I kid cuz I adore u. Ur such an amazing talent, by the way u did a wire vid how about a cord vid or a bead vid as well cuz the size of the spool my goodness I don't think I ever ran across such a large spool of cord.....
cocoa tresbelle Hehe trying to change it up a bit. It gets a bit boring and repetitive listening to my own voice saying the same things all the time when I edit my videos. You are always so kind. That's a great idea for a video. I'll see about getting that done. Yes I certainly couldn't be without the large spools of cord. They last so much longer as there is about 70-100 meters on one spool and are far more cost effective :-)
Hi there I love the jewelry you make. I am from the US and I would like to know where you got that board you measured your macrame bracelet in this video on. It does say jewellerymaker.com on it but when I went to their website I couldn't find it. Can you tell me where to get it. Thanks Diane
