- Getting a bit done to the Daihatsu powered Grey Fergie over Christmas.
Finally figured out what to do with the bottom outlet on the radiator and got the stainless steel pipe work made to plumb it up. Also made a stainless steel exhaust.
The footplate mounted on the foot throttle foot rest.
Swapped the steering wheel for a new one and also made a seat bracket to mount a more modern seat type onto the original seat spring.
Hope you enjoyed the video
Thanks for watching. - Наука та технологія
Cracking video mate, I used to watch people build cars on UA-cam but it’s all the same old shite, bought this, bolted on that blah blah blah. Your content of random machinery repairs and fabrication is far more interesting and educational. As an old boy racer I find the tractor videos more interesting than the cars of today. All the best for 2024.
I've been looking forward for a video on the Grey Tractor. Good way to end the year. Thanks and hope 2024 is a GREAT year for you, your channel and your Family. Cheers!
Thanks for a brilliant year of videos, Olly, and a snapshot into the working life of snowball engineering.
Happy New Year to you and your family, along with all my fellow subscribers and your ever growing global/ international audience
All the best for 2024

Thank you for showing us your pleasure work. We get to know you better by seeing these different videos.
That was the first vehicle I worked on as a teenager on my uncles farm in the 70's. My dad changed the brake linings because you had to drill the rivets out of the asbestos, and he didn't want me near that. I replaced all the electrics, fettling the ignition, put lights on it for lambing, and spent a while successfully getting it to steer in a straight line. We had two, one to run and one in the corner of a field for spares. We had a finger mower that was light enough to run on the back of it, I used to fix that and the bailer as well, thank you for the video, brings back a lot of memories watching it.
I can't begin to imagine the patience it took to weld that ss pipe. Well done. This is gunna be a gutsy little tractor when you have it finished.
Great hanging out video, Thanks. Just like stopping by a friends shop to say hello. Best in the New Year!
Nice tractor 😊 best wishes for 2024, Greetings from Germany, Chris
Great content Oli! Thanks for all you do. Best wishes to you and your family for 2024. Take care & stay safe.
Farmer Giles ain't getting no Piles with that new springy seat...👍😃
Awesome engineering. Love the welds. Thinking about the obstacles and overcoming them with what you have on hand. You're a smart guy, and we love your work. You Got moxie kid.
Keep them coming.
At last I'm able to watch you. Great project, fixing your tractor, looking forward to see what else you do. As I said on the short, your welding is definitely improving. Good post, thank you 👍
I love Massey Ferguson tractors. All through the Eighties, I worked in a cemetery and used MF backhoes and drove tractors with tippers and mowers etc.. yeah that was a good job, had a lot of fun back then.
A Happy & Prosperous New Year to Snowball Engineering and yourself Ollie
Love snowball Sundays here in New Jersey, USA! Watch every Sunday morning with coffee. The coolant pipe looked nice, hopefully it will hold up for you!
Nice video and fun looking toy.
A pleasant surprise. I thought you'd take a well deserved break from videos for the holidays.
(hung over)
All the best for 2024, to everyone who visits this cracking wee corner of UA-cam.
Infinity better than nothing M8😊. Really enjoy these insightful videos. Thanks very much

Thanks, will do!
Happy holidays, thanks for all the videos throughout the year.
Wishing you and yours a happy and prosperous new year. Looking forward to the insulated workshop episode. Keep on doing what you're doing.
The downside of making beautiful stainless steel pipes is ... now we expect hood and fenders to be at least green metallic painted...! Fun project! Keep em coming, Mr Snowball!
Green!😮
Thank for sharing like the progress on ferguson looking forward to seeing you in 2024
Thanks for all the videos, I enjoyed watching them all. I agree the brakes will need to be decent if you're doing road runs at up to 50mph.
All the best for the new year. Brian from South Yorkshire.
Happy and prosperous New Year Oliver, looking forward to following you in 2024
Brilliant year Ollie, nice to have an update on your tractor. Lets hope that 2024 is as successful as 2023 was for you, all you need now is your own shop, shop crane and a never ending supply of nuts and bolts of the right sizes. 👍😂
Hi Oliver. Thank you for the year's worth of entertainment. It most certainly carried me through the times when i needed just to break away from my world and it's trials and tribulations. Its videos like these that made the load easier to carry. Thank once again. I speak God's blessings upon you and your family's lives for 2024. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones 🎉

Loving the machines you have at your disposal in your workshop to... we'll handy.. maby one day I'll follow suit.. 😅. Stay safe 🏴 And have an absolute stonking good new year. 🍻🥃

Great job.
I am willing to bet money, that the seat will still only have 2 bolts holding it when you go on your first tractor run.
Good work Simon, keep the videos coming, and a happy new year.
Best wishes in the new year! 👍🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧
Grey Custom Fergie coming along nicely 👌🏼 you must be itching to try it out 🤠 fingers crossed the modifications on brakes goes well too 🙏🏼 let’s hope 2024 is drier 🎉
Thanks, fella. I'm always glad to see something from you. The more, the better, the longer they are, even better still.
That was a good bit of engineering with the water hose, using stainless like the exhaust and turbo pipes.👍

Thanks for posting the video Oliver. I’ve never tried renovating or modifying any vehicle, so love to see how you go about it and your thought process. A very Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family
I have really loved watching your videos and really appreciate that you always leave everything in the episodes, even the things that dont work out or that go wrong. I've always appreciated that you listen to people's comments like dropping the music at the beginning. Its always interesting hearing your thought process and explanation of what and why you are doing what you are doing.
Happy new year and please keep the videos coming ( longer never shorter ) please
Just planting the seed
Paint red oxide flames on the mud guards 😊👍
All the very best for the New Year. Onwards and upwards.

Thanks for another great video! Go Snowball!
Happy New Year from Queensland Australia, where we currently have a heat wave - hottest summer in years.
Hope it's not too cold over there in England.
Another option for the rad hose would have been to braze the hose stub on the other side of the bottom header , keep up the great work .
No, that wouldn’t have gained me anything otherwise I would have done that. Will do!
I purge with a second regulator and aluminum foil low pressure hardly any leaks. Works great. No special equipment. Happy New Year.🍻
Happy New Year! You've greatly entertained me with your projects and videos this last year. I do hope you'll keep doing them, as they are some of the best on UA-cam.
When I was a small boy (early 1960s) my aunt was a farm worker (ex Women's Land Army in the war) and drove that identical (or very similar) tractor. I can still remember sitting on her lap in that spring-ey metal seat! --Mike
Hi Ollie, hope you're well. Tinkering with wee grey Fergie is a pretty good way to end the year I reckon. that seat's a bit plush though. thoroughly enjoyed watching you doing your magic over the past year and looking forward to '24 and some new magic. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Top Notch Olly.
Charge More and have More Fun in the new year/ Happy New year.

Nice work, I have no idea why but I came here to watch you repair farm equipment and whatever, but then racecar, err, racetractor? happens, which is much more my kind of thing really.
