I found this song years ago when I was very young. I am 16 now and re-listening to it, and I never realized how hard the lyrics hit. My dad past away when I was young and I had troubles with some kids in school. I've experienced the things they sing about in this song. Not wanting to go to school every day but still wanting to learn. I just wanted to say that it does get better, you just have to be hopeful. Thank you for making this song. 🙏🙏
This song still brings water to my eyes. Having experienced this first hand I know how difficult it can be to leave the house the next morning. Bullying isn't something that just happens between our kids. It happens between adults too. There's so much I want to say about this, but space is limited.
