Thank you for this interview. It was very Providential. Lately, I feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted by the world. God has been graciously sustaining me and it helps to know that others are going through the same thing. If anyone reads this and feels alone in their struggles too, please know you're not the only one.

      Definitely not alone.
I would dare to say I have lost over 20 ish mom friends, that's not counting men who I knew from when I worked, etc. Or other ladies from my childhood, young adult years.
Happened from a couple incidents online 🤷‍♀️ of me speaking what I know to be true, and it's deemed 'inherently' racist, or anti- something.
My friend group is vastly different than it was 2 years ago.
I'm not totally quiet, and there are other reasons I haven't been speaking out as much.
You're not alone, many of us aren't on an active social internet account.
Praying you can find like-minded Christians near you and online!!

So sorry you’re losing loved ones over these things. I sure understand the fear of this future that’s coming at us like a runaway train. The Lord will use these things to make us strong in faith. Remember, it’s also okay to get a little help from a pastor or Christian counselor. Saying a prayer for Ariel.

Alisa when you said about what a chaotic time for people who are wired for truth - that hit me like a ton of bricks because that is me! I had never thought about it like that and I am pulling away from society because I am so very overwhelmed by people and what is going on in our world today. I am most dismayed by Christians who are believing so much of what is worldly and is in opposition to the things of God. Thank you for putting this into words it will be helpful to me going forward and in how I ask God to strengthen and guide. Blessings to you and your ministry!

@A. Nony Mouse yes that is what upsets me so too!! I have found a few places online where other people are like minded to and I praise God for those people. Thank you so very much for your comment - it is so good to know that others are equally concerned and care about God’s glory not being tarnished as so many seem willing to do in todays world. Blessings 😊

In the movie Twelve Monkeys, Brad Pitt expresses his view on the truth: "There's no right or wrong, there's only popular opinion." Sadly, that's the way it is for large swaths of the population. Relativism is the fuel that feeds the engine of hedonism, because at the end of the day that is what it all boils down to. People don't like to be told what they are doing is wrong. It's the same game the serpent ran in the Garden, one he continues to run it because it works.
When I was a leadership facilitator, the subject of living in the world as it is came up during a discussion. I pointed out that alongside that is the world of the way things ought to be. Someone then asked if we shouldn't live in one and draw inspiration from the other. We discussed it for a bit but at the end I reminded them to be careful not to drift into the third way, the world of the way you want things to be.
I drew from Dickens for an analogy:
“This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware of them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom.” ― Charles Dickens: A Christmas Carol
Believing your truth is the same as remaining willfully ignorant to the world around you and it opens your mind to machinations of the father of all lies. As Jesus said:
“I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.” ― John 18: 37
That is how you navigate the swirling waters of relativism, by seeking the truth.

@@p4pdestined8 Well, in the movie he does make the statement from a mental hospital but you make a good point. One does lead to the other. A lot of people will believe a lie if it is said by enough people with the right level of conviction and do what is wrong if they are convinced by the crowd that it is the right thing to do. As Christians, we just have to exercise discernment and remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. God Bless.

I so appreciated this discussion. One thing that seems to be missing in the discussion is why power is so important to these people. Alisa questions why someone always comes on to her site and questions her motives, accusing her of essentially a power play, and the reason is that deconstructionism and all the critical theories now in play in the universities are based on the premise that all our beliefs and attitudes are a simply a reflection of a power structure. These ideas are Marxist in origin, and it makes sense when you understand that that they try to spin a world view based on power. Critical race theory is one such deconstructionist view. It claims all our laws are racist because they arose from white supremacists who wanted to maintain power. Everyone operates from either a position of power or a position of oppression in their world. It is blatantly about power for these people, and they don't try to hide it. They want to give power to themselves, to blacks as a punishment of whites, and to criminals who have been "oppressed." They have the power, and they intend to wield it. I have a doctorate in English earned back in the 90s, and my professors even then were heavily into deconstructionism, but an excellent book on this subject is Cynical Theories by Helen Pluckrose and James Lindsay.

Sooo so relevant today! Currently reading Tactics and I wish I've read it sooner. I've felt that same response from seeing how much distortion of truth is happening right now, it's really overwhelming and I'm surrounded by it from professors to friends who all unconsciously (or maybe consciously) follow relativism, and it's even sadder when you see Christians who fall to that same trap...The feeling of isolating myself from all of it is strong, but I'm trying to remind myself daily that there is no greater joy in His eternal presence, and I'd rather cling to that than my own temporal feelings...

Crazy I just watched your two interviews with Greg Koukl from a couple years ago last night! I spoke with my friend who is mid-deconstruction tonight and used his tools and she said “hmm that’s a good question” several times. It was so helpful! I tend to be more hardcore and spill a bunch of truth but I think this was the best tactic for her and am grateful for both of you! Im praying I can be a light to pull this girl back to Christ. Maybe I can get her to watch your channel. Is there a talk or episode of yours that you would recommend for someone like that to listen to first? Maybe sharing your testimony?

Greg mentioned that tolerance is a one way street and I think some of that comes from Herbert Marcuse repressive tolerance ideology from the 1960s who was popular in the college circuit . The condensed version is any idea that
that originates from a progressive perspective must be tolerated and any idea the originates from a conservative perspective must be shown intolerance. Great conversation!

I found a short and sweet simple definition of the word "truth". According to the Funk & Wagnalls standard desk dictionary, truth is Reality. Thus, people who don't live their lives in truth actually live in a false fantasy world. They have no idea who they really are. It's no wonder we need a Savior/Redeemer to show us who we are created to be. Now I have a better understanding of why Jesus called Himself the Way, the Truth, and the Life! Yes, yes, yes!!! 😊🤗👍❤

There is only one truth. It comes from the Holy Spirit.
But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.

Why anyone would think that ignoring the advice given by the very designer and maker of the entire universe and all life in favor of following some idiot making things up is mind boggling.

Greg here again does an expert job of mixing up so much of what is wrong and right. First of all he conflates an individual search for meaning that Oprah was referring to as narcissistic.. which though can be true, not necessarily.. Jeremiah talks of the day where we would all be taught by God PERSONALLY, Jesus talks of us being Gods, Greater things than this will you do, and St.Paul backs this up in his epistles.. the problem is not individualism as such, but that which is cut off from a greater truth of LOVE expressing in our lives in Grace and Mercy. I would agree that Relativism is a severe problem.. But I also see it in quite a bit of Greg's articles on his site and the little I've read of his books... No wonder he's part of the "focus on the Family" one of the worst organizations for this spiritual pablum .. Truly hoping for Greg's spiritual growth from Peter Pan, keeping the childishness of churchianity, to a more wise soul... because like Alisa I do see some real nuggets in there as well every now and then.

An interesting revelation I received from God when I first met Jesus, was about the tree of knowledge and relativism. That the tree is the knowledge of relative good n evil. Mans version of it. The origin of divide n conquer. It's been humanity's paradigm ever since, and only from the Holy Spirit can we discern the truth beyond that. That tree is bearing full fruit now in these last days.

What do you think the consequences are of creating and supporting a false reality, then forcing others to accept and promote that ideology?

On the topic of truth (as Nancy Pearcy would say "true truth") and its purposeful absence in the postmodern, because they "speak your own"; which reminds of the "name it and claim it" Joel Osteen type of money making or authority over a situation. I am reminded of Yeonmi Park talking about North Korea, even if 2+2=4, if the supreme leader says it's 5 (because of ignorance or because he says so) it is 5, throughout North Korea - education. That was not her verbatim example, and there are many in this vein to reference; If the judge, if the king, if the Authoritarian government says so (see Nazism/Maoists/Communism/ and any other of such - the list), that is now your tyranny. Whether of 1, the tyrant, or the majority (democracy), a large group of ignorance, truth has no place in governing the model and means of peoples; more so whatever they are bent to, by their own wickedness or the suggestion of others (algorithm included).

Sorry to hear you were denonetized. I wasn't already a subscriber, changed that immediately to weigh back in on your voice - guess that's the least I can do.

What is the real truth of what Oprah saw as a young girl growing up in a Baptist family? The death of her infant son whom she never got to hold in her teens formed the outlook of her past and future

Your problem isn’t that people are living "their truth“… your real problem is that too many people decide to accept "objective truth“ when it contradicts the stories of the Bible.
