- Series 11 is actually really good. I have been rewatching the show recently and realising just how much fun I have watching this chill instalment of the show, and I wanted to share my opinions and reasoning behind why I think it is over-hated.

Great video and great Theory. Millie Gibson is amazing as Ruby.
I did enjoy her in the Christmas special. Excited to see the mysteries around her uncovered too.
Being Doctor Who isn't a job for life. Being a Doctor Who companion isn't a job for even a couple years. It's unclear why people are getting their knickers in a twist over this.
Yes I agree, people seem to be surprises with this happening anyway even though one series companions have been a thing.
Thay better not only have like 11 episodes or less in a season like the 13th doctor
Its confirmed to be 8 per season + 1 chritsmas special annually. Meaning we will always get 9 episodes a year. This is closer to the capaldi era where he had 40 episodes in 4 years this is 36

The simplest explanation is always the most likely. RTD praising MG is not good evidence of anything other than good PR for 2 series featuring the actress not being broadcast yet. Is it believable that a young actress who has featured in two iconic TV shows now has her sights set on Hollywood and started acting up - yes it is. Is it also believable that her character is taking a narrative sabbatical from the show for narrative reasons only? Well I can't imagine her agent would be happy with her losing episodes, pay and exposure from a global flagship show on Disney+ and BBC. It would also be an odd contract that has her in one season and out the next. In shows like soaps with high episode counts characters do often leave shows temporarily - which line up with real life personal tragedies, holidays or roles in other shows - often with the same network. So unless MG is about to turn up in Ms Marvel season 2 or something I think her leaving in season 2 is precisely that and not a temporary pause (unless she has scenes in each episode she is missing of her in a dungeon or something). Whether its because she didn't like the show, was fired, or felt creatively like she was done is a different matter it could be any of those or a combination of all 3. Lets also remember that Eccles hated his first, and only season so its not like there isn't precedent for actors cutting their stint short.
Yea 100% I am just hoping for a more positive outcome and a more fun outcome. I know what I have stated isnt super likely but Its what I want to happen and what I believe has a slught chance of happening. Your approach is definitely more realistic.

Plus, why does the fact she doesn’t like night shoots make her a diva.
Yeah this mess has me confused. I refuse to believe that Millie Gibson is such an unbearable diva that she was dropped. I wanna give everyone the benefit of the doubt (except RTD, he's perpetually on thin ice with me)
Yea I agree really. The only thing making me believe it could potentially be true is because of the eccelston situation from 2005 but I am hoping that have learned from then

It’s an opinion, not a lie. I never stated anything as fact. The thumbnail has a question mark and the title is clearly based off of opinion. If you genuinely think this is hard click-bait to the point of you commenting, you must be new to watching youtube. Yes, it’s definitely made to get people to watch but it is no way tricking viewers. No information surrounding the matter of her leaving is official anyway so I dont know what you expected.
I have looked now and I see it isn’t a question mark in the thumbnail which I will change when I can, that was a by accident though, I wanted a question mark.
This show is a complete mess. Why anyone would choose to watch it is perplexing.
It is great for a lot of people, I am sorry that you do not enjoy it anymore but people still do.
