Are you kidding me, where do people like you come from. This is fantastic. There is more than talent behind this. You're creative, and skilled, and I appreciate this so much. Music is so good, and you make it better. I am subscribed and following.
going through an old playlist for 2017 and remembered how good this song is!! it's the first one i found ofyours, because obviously i had to then listen to all your songs
I usually don't look into genres like this, but...just wow. You lot are doing some amazing stuff here, love the historical backdrop (I know I'm a little late commenting here but seriously, keep up the good work).
This song is just amazing... I listen to it when I'm happy, when I'm sad and it always touches my heart. I love both your albums and I wish I could be at your concert but it is unfortunatelly unlikely... Thanks for your great music, it really matters for me :)
I absolutely love your music! You guys are insanely talented and your music evokes such beautiful imagery and is incredibly expressive. Can't wait to hear more.

Hey Hannah, thanks for listening! The song was actually completely inspired by the Battle of Gettysburg and the trip that we took there back in February of last year. We just shared a fairly simple video for it that gives a bit more info too! ua-cam.com/video/goBtgvEA86o/v-deo.html
Oh my gosh, I just watched the video and it's amazing! The song popped up in my Release Radar playlist on spotify and i'm totally hooked on the album now. I just finished up studying the civil war in school and this song sums up the feel really well.
Oh that's awesome, I love my Release Radar so it's so cool to know others are hearing us on theirs as well! We had the melody for the song and went to Gettysburg for a show, but also ideally to see some ghosts (since it's supposedly super haunted). No official ghost sightings, but we did hear what we thought was for sure cannonfire at 2am while we were in the middle of the battlefield (which is where we pull over a few minutes into the video.) So we had a lot of experiences that we wanted to work in. I had also just finished reading The Killer Angels, which is a fantastic book solely about the Battle of Gettysburg, so I highly recommend it. Thank you for listening! - Steve
Just in rhythmic technical difficulty, this is incredibly impressive, throw in melody AND counterpoint melodies on these beautiful lyrics, and you guys really create something worth listening too. Not like all these popular modern groups where everything is simple, repetitive, and worst of all, auto tuned. This may be my new favorite group.
Hey thank you Andrew! We'll make a note of that for sure and will get in touch! Feel free to send us an email (coldweathercompany@gmail.com) if you have any venue suggestions!
y’all’s songs have given me a lot of inspiration for my writing, thank you!
I never comment on UA-cam videos but I think you guys deserve a lot more recognition. Don't stop making music!
Well you're listening, and that's what counts! Thank you so much! :)

Love this, not sure if you were really trying to represent Gettysburg/the Civil War but I totally get that vibe of a brothers' war... so so good.

The artwork came from our trip to Gettysburg as well, taken with an authentic Civil War-era camera.

Great song will you guys make a sequal to the song? I think that would go well maybe something about returning home from war or something
That definitely plays a big role in the idea behind this song actually, but you never know! Thanks for listening!
Great track! Found you guys on TikTok.
♥️♥️♥️
So, this is easily on of my top 5 favorite songs, in an amazing twist of fate I also happened to have a relative who d!ed at Gettysburg
very nice song, but your album cover is a bit creepy not gonna lie ;)
Hah definitely understandable! It was taken with an authentic 1800s-era camera though so we thought it fit well with the song! Thanks for listening!
Wow that's awesome! Yeah it definitely fits the theme. Great work :)
Thanks again Holly! :)
omg no way i thought it was so cool
