Thanks for a very well done video. I also appreciate having simple ambient sound and no annoying "music". Great job of capturing the experience of being there.
Living in Nebraska all my life I've been spoiled by this amazing zoo, it's so weird to think people come from all over the country to visit this place, it's something my family did once a month as a way to get out of the house.
Thank you so much for sharing this! My husband and I went to Omaha for our honeymoon, as well as our first and second anniversary, and we would always take a day or two to go to the zoo! Due to Covid and me being high risk, I have been trying to think of ways to still do something Omaha or zoo related while in quarantine. We have been watching a lot of park walk throughs, so this will be the perfect watch to make this anniversary feel a bit more normal. 😊 Thank you!
hi, im from india, im 14 years old and i have spent half of my life in USA, 4 years in nashville and 3 years in omaha, and i have went to this zoo many times like it was normal for me to there because i lived in omaha, USA is a great country i will vissit again one day
Hope this nation will continue to do right by you and your family. It is also my grand hope you will again visit these shores to participate in our great experiment of trying to be a constructive influence for our world.
@@sperotoday yes i will absolutely come to USA, but not right right now, i will come when ill grow up, because my father is currently working for my nation , india, he was in USA becausse he was doing higher studies (phd) there
Low key the crocodile place in the dome was the best it was so cool it was like you were in an actual swamp and actually with the crocodiles. And idk if the big albino one is still there but I was gigantic and dope
I've been to this zoo a few times and never had any issues. I went yesterday (8/14/21) with my family and it has really gone to crap. A lot of closed down exhibits, a lot of empty enclosures, train shut down, 25 bucks a person for adults, and you can forget about buying food and drinks there unless you want to spend hours in line and empty your bank account. We spent half the time there searching for food and drinks and were getting dangerously dehydrated. My sister had to leave way early because it was so ridiculous that she was about to pass out. I'm not exaggerating at all, about 9 out of 10 drinking fountains do not work in the park. Most food places are closed so the few they do have open are WAY over crowded and the service is so slow that the lines barely move, count on being in line for several hours. Forget about buying refreshments from the vending machines as they are literally all sold out. Nevermind the fact that it costs $3.75 for the drinks in the vending machines and they still can't seem to stock them. You had better bring your own koy fish pellets with you too because all the fish food dispensers were empty except for the two machines that didn't work at all, they were completely full. But if you need to buy your kids overpriced merchandise you still can, all of that is completely stocked. Profits are clearly the priority to Omaha Zoo over customer experience and safety. It's like they're literally trying to kill people. We had to ask an employee for some cups and ice water from one of the "online ordering only" food vendors which thank God they gave to us (in tiny dixie cups btw). It was so bad that people started asking us where we got the water from. IT WAS BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!! And I hate when people use all caps and exclamation points btw.

Only Nebraska kids would understand calling it the “Omaha Zoo”
Yessss🤣 I went to the Lincoln zoo a couple times and it was definitely not as good lololol
This is what we call it and I'm from KC 🤔🤷
Does it count if I’m from council bluffs?
@simon I’d say they are adding new exhibits and animals, and the habitats they are adding are much better for the animals
