Caroline's guest today is Hemi Goldin. Hemi's younger brother, Capt. Hadar Goldin was killed and his body kidnapped in 2014 during a ceasefire with Hamas. Hemi Goldin spoke of his family's experiences, his family's assistance to those currently kidnapped by Hamas, and the unified front to bring them home.

In Manchester England where I live I drive through the Jewish community several times per day. The local Jewish people put up posters of kidnapped children on Oct 7th. Those posters have ripped off , replaced and ripped off again. It's just one of a number of things that make me realise, how much hatred there is around me . Its shocking. God bless Israel 🇮🇱

This young man is exactly correct in that no one would want to trade places with the families of the hostages. Without a doubt we would all expect our respective nations to fight for our loved ones and do everything within their power to bring our people home. It just seems to me that everyone always expects Israel to turn the other cheek and passively accept every blow dealt to them by these evil people. I just break down and cry when I listen to these gut wrenching and heart breaking stories. The Jews I’ve met were some of the most loving, peaceful and caring people I’ve ever met! Praying for safety and the peace of Jerusalem! I know God is angry and grieved over all that is taking place against the Jews and Israel!
I've never been to Israel, and I am not Jewish. I am sick to the core with every story of murder and brutality that Hamas inflicted on Israel. I am furious at the crowds of people supporting terrorists in the street and the abominable rise of antisemitism since then. I am disgusted with the faux moralising of the international community against a country that just experienced the worst massacre since the Holocaust. I am praying and praying for Israel to win decisively over these evil monsters.

He is so well spoken and wise beyond his years. I really appreciate this interview. I hope one day his brother is brought home. I am so heart broken for all the people in Israel, but it just rips my heart out about the hostages. The British Israeli man who thought his 8 year old daughter had died and now to find out his daughter was probably taken to Gaza is horrific. My heart is broken for him. He was the first person I saw speaking after Oct 7th and it really shook me to my core. I am American and praying for everyone in Israel and all Jewish people, but I am praying for a miracle and she and all hostages left will be returned not too badly harmed or as little as possible and still able to live a happy life. That is truly gut wrenching and he is on my mind, in my prayers and my heart is broken for him. I know they had to tell him, but I wonder if it would have been better to not know. I hope the prayers of the world will ease the pain of only in the tiniest way. I get more angry and sad everyday that I hear more about what the actions of those wretched beasts. They aren’t animals. Animals are so much better.

Thank you for having the brother of Hadar Golden as your guest. He is very special and the interview was not only incredibly moving, but at the same time stressed the responsibility of the government to bring the hostages home no matter what it takes. He wouldn't accept the thought that the situation is seemingly impossible to overcome. They just have to find a way to do it, and he had hope that they will. I hope they can live up to that hope.

The suffering of Israeli people for seventy years is heartbreaking, and I am not even Israeli or Jewish. All Israel has ever wanted are FREEDOM and PEACE. Yes, Israel has made mistakes, but it has ALWAYS been willing to make painful concessions for PEACE. The Palestinians have consistently refused even the most generous offers, simply because those offers still allow the Jews to have their own state. There's no "two sides" to this story. The genocidal Palestinian campaign against Israel has been the problem from day one, and there'll be no peace until that campaign either surrenders, or is destroyed.
There must be no ceasefire or humanitarian pause, certainly not until all the hostages are home.

I really enjoy your channel. You are making a meaningful contribution revealing the truth about the situation in Israel. I feel that the leadership was missing or distracted in Israel for a long time as exploited by it’s enemies. Maybe it would not have happened in the first place if alert and unselfish LEADERship was present.
Was the tactics correct in the reaction to the heinous terrorist invasion on 7/10.? My opinion is that it was knee jerk reaction. It is without cunning and wisdom. What is the plan? The expected conventional bombing and invasion were expected and is easy to counter, primarily by swaying World Opinion against Israel, giving Hamas the moral high ground. Israel’s allies will turn against her eventually.
Hamas is controlled and a proxy army of Iran. Iran is building a nuclear bomb. They do not recognise Israel and want to destroy it. This is an attack against the existence of Israel, not a simple incursion. It called for serious action not reaction. Netanyahu had the moral high ground immediately after the attack. If he struck the Iranian nuclear facilities with a tactical nuclear bomb, international interference on the same scale would have been highly unlikely. Iran could have been given an ultimatum to exert pressure on Hamas to return the hostages. Off course stern forceful action against Hamas to restore safety immediately is not negotiable. Forcing Iran to let the rocket attacks stop and cutting off support for all terrorists would cut off the blood supply to Hamas. Take the money and rockets away from them and they would be far less effective. Fresh unthinkable strategy was called for.

I think Israel agreed a ceasefire in 2014, because the Israeli victims were very few, unlike this time were so many dead including babies, how can Israel bear that carnage done by Hamas. Asking now a ceasefire for the sake of Palestinians but forgetting the Israeli hostages inside Gaza to be freed and bring back to their families, that's unacceptable.
