dude you should get a wood shelf for your markers. You could probrobly get a custom one made for not that much, considering its not much supply costs. Then you could also organize the refills. Idk a foam shelf to me is like an accident waiting to happen.

I thought about some anti-slip stuff and stick it underneath to prevent the shelf from moving.
Though the foam shelf has held up really well. Even with the cat using it as a spring board. The shelf stayed... the markers did not. I feel like a wooden shelf would have fallen off the desk unless it was attached some how. It's hard to cat-proof a house... they get into everything and look at you with the most adorable face so you can't really be mad for too long (if at all) lol.

Right!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I had two fluffy Maine Cats(one the size of a baby Lynx). EVERYTHING had fur on it, Winter months we're the worst. It was worth it because I adore cats.

I love nothing more than when I have a 1 cat and 3 giant dog maze on the floor of my little craft room. I love all the little snoozy snores and the occasional nose poking up from under my desk wanting attention! My cat won't jump on any desk or counter ever.. uhg.. I wish she would. It's so sweet and calming! She's about 15 years old!

When I'm at home (and not in a dorm), I let my cats on my desk all of the time unless I have food. I also let them sleep on my pillows (i know that sounds gross but i dont sleep on the ones they do), but my parents yell at my cats for doing those things even though its my room and my stuff D: and they only go in my room anyway, they dont care about anyone else in my house but me until I go back to school.
Again, this is why we cat owners can’t have nice things!! Lmao. My cat has tore up my place.

Surprisingly, my first cat, Bebe, is an utter sweetheart who doesn't bother. Was always calm, even when she was a kitty. Never caused much trouble or a mess. Our new kitten, Peep, however, is a little devil and enjoys making messes lol we're a little nervous to have the tree out as well. Bebe doesn't care for it but this kitten...

My cats do the same. We find it amusing and know what decorations that we feel comfortable having places (like our mini xmas tree on the bookcase) and everything else just gets put away.
Lol I have to be sneaky when I'm going to craft. I have one cat her name is Vita and she is the most annoying fur ball, but I love her to death. Lol
Every time I sit down to work she jumps on the desk and lays on top of what ever I'm working on. XD love those fur babies though. X'D
You should get some museum putty or gel. Its basically nondamaging sticky stuff intendes to keep things (like expensive vases) from being broken if they bumped. Or if there is an earthquake, i guess. I bet it could secure your marker organizer pretty well too.

You could get a some sticky 3m stuff f for the bottom of your copic holder it would help try to prevent complete spillage but it might help!

This season just kills me every year. It just seems like there are so few indoor activities in metro vancouver (unless you count buying crap or eating in restaurants a fun activity). Summer is great because of all the parks and wildlife and cycling! In the autumn/winter, all there is to do is touristy stuff like aquarium and science world, which is too expensive to do regularly. There's nothing to look forward to for *months!* :/

In all honesty, it is worth it for her to risk things like this in order to get some bebe interaction. Worse comes to worse she has to replace the item damage (i.e.: microphone). Keep in mind she is alone most of the day working from home. I personally love the kitty interactions and laugh when stuff like this happens.
