Thank you for watching. I am trying to do justice to these sites and these memories. I know there's a lot of guys out there who still remember these places

Very interesting to me from the fact that I raced at all those tracks. I was racing at Neilsen's track the day the dragster crashed. Major part of his engine flew 50 ft. straight up in the air when he hit the pole. Sad day for all that was there.

Wow! Thank you for checking out the video and thank you for commenting Keith. You are an absolute Legend around here! I remember watching you run that Nova many years ago. Here in another month or so I'm going to cover the old Bonneville raceway that was at the Utah Central Airport and then the Bonneville Raceway Park that eventually became RMR.

@@maddogmerv , thank you for the memories. At 74 I'm starting to have a bit of memory loss but these posts sure bring them back again. I've been working on my sons B/SA Camaro the past year and seeing these old posts keep me going. Thanks again and keep it coming,

Lotsa Memories MDM! When we couldn't race at one of those tracks, some of us wound up on Swanner Road or on 5th West where the old Levitz facility was (now the Jazz Practice Facility) and LHM Ford and Seiner Chevy/Cad are now. Larry H. Miller showed up one day in his '63 Falcon with a cross-rammed 260 V8, along with guys like Thornley King, Paul Stroh, and others. Street Outlaws" of the '60's! Too bad no vids of that action...

Thank you for watching and thank you for commenting. I used to work with Bill Chastain and he would tell me if some of the races he got into with Larry Miller. Bill had a 63 comet with a 260. He claims to have beat Larry Miller and that Larry wasn't a very gracious loser. Thank you for sharing your memories. The second part to this video will be out within the month stay tuned

Shortly before Miller passed, they restored that falcon.
I did the interior and convertible top. It was on display at miller's track before they let China buy it.

Great video on this. I've always heard about the copperton track as some farmer trying to reduce street racing. Probably another myth. 👍
