Hi guys! Another jam-packed week here! First, we're off to Strong's Garage to get a fresh engine assembled for the 1926 Ford Model T, and then after we fix the park brake on the 1937 Chevrolet, it's off to get Dean's 1958 Edsel and try to figure out why it randomly stops running! Finally, a look at how Agent 100013 found Details Dave's beloved 1983 Impala after it was stolen on Monday... We are very happy to announce our new "Dean's Greasy Flips" beer cozies! Get yours today, as they are a limited edition! Also: We just got in a new shipment of "Same Old Shit" coffee mugs, so get them while they last, haha! Oh! I do not have a Telegram account or any bullshit contest going! Do not respond to any of these "contest winner" replies; they are a scam. Ironically Google/UA-cam doesn't like the posting of long and lat in the comments. I have posted a couple over the years of places you have been, and they disappear. I guess they think I was doxing a mountain in Jasper park. But I have found the location of "Greasy Flips". The 17th st exit and one fiffy three was enough. Hmm, the outro music during the patreon names was slower.
One of your best ever. Just GREAT! I have just contacted You Tube and ripped them for the de-monetization of last week's vid. If enough of us do this, they MIGHT take notice. Yeah, right..... Their admin just gets worse and worse. Dan in Bangor
I'm so happy that the Impala was recovered before the other guy bought it and it would be gone forever and so sorry to hear about you tube making it to were you can't play your music that sucks it's not right what they do. Thanks again Scott for all your great content it keeps me going.
You got to remember that Magnum P.I. drove around that little island in a bright red Ferrari doing his detective sleuthing "undercover" and was never spotted so Dean had a very good chance of doing the same in his red Honda. 😄
Thanks Kyle for locating the stolen Impala. You are a brilliant person for putting it all together. I really enjoy the matchbox car sequences you put together for the the CWM channel.....I just don't understand why the Edsel was such a commercial failure. Deans Edsel is a beautiful car and I would think lot's of us car enthusiasts would love having a car like that in their garage, I know I would. I am happy for Dean, He really truly deserves a wonderful car like the Edsel. He is a great guy that works very hard and would do anything you would ever ask him to help you do.
Looking forward or maybe looking Ford to seeing how the T goes with the upgraded engine. Loving the Edsel and so glad that Details Dave got his Chevrolet back. These criminals make ideal boat anchors.
One of the best CWM episodes. So cool to see the T engine going together . I cannot believe the EPS wouldn’t respond without an actual address, perhaps they would have liked a ride to the location too. Oh wait I can believe it because the 911 operator told me to go to the station in the morning and fill out a report when I was calling in someone breaking into my garage. They refused to respond until I said I was going out there to take care of the matter myself. 6 cruisers showed up just in time to find me with a scumbag in a choke hold. They really don’t like it when the public do their jobs and I was told as much along with being threatened with pepper spray and a taser . Very happy that Dave got his car back. Great news that the Edsel is back on the road.
Hello from Memphis TN. It still amazing that the old 60 70 80 90 year old cars will still be going after all these years. I have a feeling that no car made today will be on the road in 50 years and the old ones will still be running. Keep up the content .👍👍👍👍
This episode, clip after clip, is what I like the best about CWM- the agents get together and have a bunch of yuks while helping each other (and maybe fight crime). Happy ending for Dave, but boo to UA-cam on their nixing the band! Fight on ,and see you next week!
Way to go agents on finding Dave’s car, Kyle with the brains, Scott doing the ground work, & Dean providing the ghetto camouflage survalance car and the muscle, you guys rock!
Wow, another brilliant episode. The opening scene was laugh out loud funny. That Model T engine assembly was fascinating. Now the engine clearances will be in thousandths of an inch, instead of hundredths of an inch. Great fix (but no doubt frustrating along the way), figuring out why the Edsel fuel pump was not supplying enough fuel. Bravo to Dean on his new Honda beater. Maybe some time, we will see someone bust out an OBD II code reader at the CWM compound. Modernity intrudes into the CWM compound. And bravo on recovering the stolen car. And it's great that the old console TV can pick up whichever channel was showing the Straight 8 Challenge Race, followed by a "Cops" marathon.
Loved the Strong’s Garage opening! A fine, fine show that made for a fine, fine Parisien Saturday night! Thank you all. Such good news that you ‘found the Edsel fuel starvation problem… two wrongs don’t make a fuel pump. Such positive news about Dave’s found 1983 Impala; what sort of lowlife creep does that? Get GPS trackers concealed in your pride and joys boys - they work! Frankers cavorting in the spring flowers, how lovely 🥰
Excellent show this week! Glad to hear Dave's car was recovered, I'll refrain from ranting about scumbags and the society that enables them.. .Sorry to hear about UA-cam. The people in charge are doing a fantastic job of destroying what could have been a great thing. It's like they are actually trying to sabotage themselves
Two things, first I mentioned before that Ford pulled out all the stops with the Edsel. Remember, Edsel was a new division. Like Lincoln or Mercury. That's why Dean's car is so cool. Second the way you describe the events of the car theft and cops reaction is exactly like the USA. You Canadians are great. I'm proud to call you our neighbors. My Chrysler 300S was made there, and she's a great car. Keep up the entertaining videos, see you next week.
You know what I think I love most about this show asides from the cars and the doggies, is that it’s just a good bunch of mates helping each other and talking crap and makes you feel like your part of it.
Thank you. Shaking my head at the story of Details' car and immediatley followed by applause for the ingenuity of the recovery operation by cwm agents, spearheaded by the lead investigator. Closing for today on a positive note, much enjoyed the visit to Strong's Garage. Always cool to see even more classic tools in action and may I add, very nice to see HI in full effect! Indeed, team work makes the dream work. So, an extra thank you very much to all, a hearty well-wishing for Details and here's to a triumphant return of his Impala 🍺
Pisses me off about UA-cam robbing you. As a guitar/bass player myself, I really enjoyed your end of video jams.I'm amazed at Scott being a lefty but plays righty. So glad to see Dean FINALLY has a reliable daily driver, that Scott will even ride in it! Excellent detective work and ground work getting the Chevy recovered by the agents. Cheers!!!
Cheers to KSD (Kyle, Scott & Dean) auto recovery! Almost as good as an old episode of the Rockford Files. I'm pissed about the band ban! That was a signature segment of CWM, for fucks sake! I'll surely miss it.
Congrats to Details, can't believe that old bomber's been recovered! Truly tragic about the band footage, I'll miss that, but you can't skip paychecks for our amusement, I get it. Scott, I've kissed your ass about a number of things, but that couch in the bar next to the green screen TV is a thing of beauty, my parents had a very similar set when I was a kid. Cheers, gang!
Exception episode guys! From the intro, to, BMC walking in on the High Performance Model T engine rebuild, to the Edsel fuel pump fix, to the recovery of Dave's 1983 Chevy. I have a soft spot for those Impalas. In 1979, as a civilian, I ordered a COPO 9C1 (Cop Car) thanks to a very helpful sales manager. Mine was the same Burgundy colour and even had the fender, wheel well trim. Here in Ontario, it annoyed my OPP pals that I got my car before the "fleet" arrived. I still have the 1978 COPO Nova/Impala 8 page brochure.
It's great to see Your Buddy's all come together and lend a hand as well. One of the great things about the car community in general. Having fun with friends.
Thumbs up for the rebuilt Model T engine. Tom's brutal directness "You're not used to driving something nice, everything you have is garbage." Way to go Kyle and best wishes Dave. Very sorry to hear the crazy Tuber theft based on the band play.
Dave ir really lucky to have awesome friends like you guys! Real top notch work there to find his stolen car before the police even had a freaking lead on it!
Went straight to the recovery investigation! EXTREMELY happy for all you guys & most importantly Dave for getting his ride back! Well done all - didn't lose your head, just did the leg work & let the police handle it. Great work! MAYBE Kyle should be an honorary 4chan member, lightning quick on the keyboard & tech an all. Now I can back n watch the rest. Cheers
Scott needs to paint a white targa band on Dean's red Honda so they can play Starsky and Hutch. That and a magnetic bubblegum machine to slap on the roof.
I had a 1962 Ford Fairlane with a 221 v8 and a three speed with over drive. Clean car for Vermont! Any who I remember the lobe on the fuel pump drive cam or the fuel pump pusher pumper thingy was a little lean. Gas welded a little meat on it as I recall. I loved that car! Sad when the rear went due to hulling water in milk cans one winter. That car was like a tractor! Little 221. Good show guys. Nice to see Dean sober!
I see that you opted not to repaint the T block, which fits the survivor motif you've kept so far. It looks way better on the inside than outside! Great story about the stolen car recovery. Cops almost never really investigate like you see on TV. Unless somebody's dead or missing, they simply don't care. This isn't the first YT video I've seen where someone did all the work for the cops and handed them the perp practically wrapped with a bow. I hope the scumbag gets more than a slap on the wrist ... they used to punish horse thieves much more harshly for the same sort of thing. Branding sounds about right.
Good to see Dean's Edsel again, beautiful car and glad you solved the fuel pump issue. That engine will turn the T into a hot rod. Looking forward to seeing the cosmetic touch ups to the 37 Chevy. And great work Kyle in getting Dave's car back, one to the good guys! Best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Hi, Scott, you and Jim worked on the Model T engine rebuilt is excellent. She should run good from now on. It's great to see the Edsel back on the road. The fuel pump has always been a common problem. That was great work on finding Dave's Impala. That's a shame you guys did there job. They need to be fired! I hope there not that much damage to the Impala. Give my best wishes to everybody please let me know if you help with Dave's Impala. Cheers!
This is one of my favourite CWM episodes. I've said it before, but Matt & Jim's workshop, tools, knowledge, fashion, and personalities are amazing. Dean's Edsel mystery was strange, but when you sus things like that it's such a eureka moment. The undercover cop section was brilliant - I really hope the thieving dirtbag doesn't get hit by a truck one day, that would be terrible. And as for the UA-cam bollocks, I think you should do the covers but make up your own words and add solos and riffs from other songs 😂
Mates looking after mates. Brilliant episode. Imagine if Kyle rolled up in his deathslayer van and the agents piled out and started door knocking. All power to you all.
What a sweet shop with so many cool tools, makes me happy. Really amazed how large the pistons are on the model t and it could be so low of hp but must have tons of torque? (Tom crackes me me up everytime). I've run a lawncutting business now 25 years and started with Gravely that are excellent machines, too bad the only shop that carried them was in the middle of Toronto and I'm in the suburbs so I eventually moved onto Walker that are excellent also. Like watching an episode of Rockford files you and Dean finding the stolen vehicle.
What a great program... perhaps we just watched the origins of the new CWM's Dragnet! Also, your intro was one of your best segments ever!!!!! SO FUNNY. and what a great group of guys have in your life Scott. They are truly worth celebrating.
What a terrific episode all the way through! From the Strong's spoof to "Straight eight showdown" running on the old TV. Excellent work by all parties leading to locating the Impala and the criminal(s). That is a total scam on the band music and the loss of revenue!
Dear Scott. I watch all your videos always till the very end. And afterwards I usually write mostly a long, positive comment. What I had to hear at the very end this time made my blood pressure rise immediately. 😱😱 I'm so sad and extremely upset that I'm not able to write a fitting comment yet.🙈
Hahaha. That intro cracked me up! Between you folks, Kyle at Carter Auto Restyling and Randahl at Shed by the Tracks… my weekends are filled with debauchery and crazy humour. AND .. learnin’. Thanks! Ahhh the “slow knee showdown”. I deal with that all the time, Sott. Sadly, it never improves. Great news about getting Dave’s car back. Sucks big time about the band/music/ewetoob crap. Stupid system. ---- Scott, can you not edit that video and repost it? You know we’ll all watch it again to help you out.
WOW! This weeks episode is REALLY reality TV. As Scott said, "Who would be dumb enough to put an ad for a hot car on the internet?" In the "old days", at least on radio & TV cop shows (remember those?) the police would have their informants who were tuned in to the local underworld gossip. Also amazed at the "ancient" technology (magneto) that went in to early cars. Great detective work. Reminds me of how I figured out where a certain French car lived by watching a CWM video. Don't worry, my lips are sealed, as I have signed under the "ColdWarMotors Secrecy Act". Have to admit I first goofed on finding why my Dodge Caliber clutch mechanism "failed". (It will be fixed, better late than never.) Like the Edsel fuel pump mystery. And my old Volvo engine quitting, which baffled the "experts" and cost me a shipload of money. And a good friend who was doing a perfectly innocent interpretive dance routine in her kitchen to some tune got "knuckles rapped" by facebook. Welcome all to the 21st century. Cheers to all & love to Frankers, -oj
Lovin it - T content great, as was the Edsel - so glad the impala was found in one piece so to speak - at least it will be home soon, crap the copyright shit - chalk it up to another one of life’s lessons- onwards and upwards 😉👏
So glad you guys found Dave's Impala! Thats awesome. As for the fuel pump issue on the Edsel, over the years I run into that same issue on many different cars. IIRC, the pump eccentric on those motors , bolts onto the cam gear. Those sometimes gets worn down to the point that it wont move the pump arm far enough. Had many new pumps, with too much slack in the linkage to work properly. Had a shop work on my Toyota Celica one time. We were getting it ready for vacation to Pikes Peak. The guy put on a new pump, thought the old one was leaking into the oil. Got to high altitude and it wouldn't move enough to keep running. Limped back home and it kept getting worse, day after return home it wouldn't run at all . went to Toyota and spent the cash to get the genuine article, no slop in the linkage and cured the issue.
And the academy award goes to Scott Newstead for best supporting actor on the Strong’s Garage Show I was thinking about the fuel pump issue on the Edsel if it uses a push rod from the cam to the pump it might be worn down causing low diaphragm lift
Did folks know that the Studebaker corporation owned Gravely tractors, congratulations on getting the car back, my father used to say " they use to hang horse thief's " thanks again for all you do! Mark

Love the new intro gentlemen! Cross Branding Confusion Reigns Supreme! 0:33 Frankers is ready to go ... take a nap by that big yawn! LOL!
That is a shame about the band song causing issues between you and "Your Toilet."
One of your best ever. Just GREAT!
I have just contacted You Tube and ripped them

The intro killed me! Thanks for the laugh, guys.
The official Cold War Motors hats also.

'37 Chev, '58 Edsel, '26 T engine and Dave gets his beloved '83 Impala back!!! What a great episode!!
CWM is the exception to the rule.."The better the intro the worse the video" This one was hilarious.
One of the best CWM episodes.
So cool to see the T engine going together .
I cannot believe the EPS wouldn’t respond without an actual address, perhaps they would have liked a ride to the location too. That old TV sure has nice picture quality.
These car thieves fortunately weren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed. What a bunch of scumbags. I am so glad Dave got his Impala back.
Car thieves don't get. Arrested
But Religious leaders and truck drivers do.
It would be good to see those scum get some CWM justice but their not worth going to jail for.
Edsel is magnificent
Wow, another brilliant episode. The opening scene was laugh out loud funny. That Model T engine assembly was fascinating. To sum up this episode: a bunch of good friends looking out for each other. Kudos guys.
Glad you found Dave's Impala! Nice to see the Edsel too.
glad Dave got his car back, can't wait to see the 37 legal, and going for chips!
Excellent show this week! Glad to hear Dave's car was recovered, I'll refrain from ranting about scumbags and the society that enables them..

Most deserving channel on UA-cam always delivers great content with a natural comedic style
Glad to hear the Impala is back! Nothing makes me more sick than worrying about my pride & joy being taken.
I will probably never be into the insides of a T engine, but this was fascinating to watch.
Bob, I've inquired Scott about the use of aluminum replacement pistons (choice of material)
Seriously the Edsel is looking real nice
You know what I think I love most about this show asides from the cars and the doggies, is that it’s just a good bunch of mates helping each other and talking crap and makes you feel like your part of it.

Very happy for Dave! But I'm sure gonna miss the band clips.
Way to go finding that Impala, it's a good thing they aren't nearly as common as 30 years ago.
good work on the Impala recovery folks!!
Well done Kyle for your work in getting Details reunited with his Impala. Does this make Kyle a Special Agent now?
Great show! Engine building, mystery solving, Dean cowboy show, awesome!
Scott. Please protest the demonetization, the band clips were some of the best parts. Never let them win. You have a clear Fair Use claim.
Nice job on finding Dave's car Kyle. The Death Dealer strikes back.
Glad all worked out on Dave's Impala, glad Kyle did all that! Good looking out Kyle 👍👍🤘✌️. Oh and glad the Edsel is good

I hope there not that much damage to the Impala. Give my best wishes to everybody please let me know if you help with Dave's Impala. Cheers!
Your respect for keeping the old, running engine together is much appreciated, boys 🎉
Good work! Yeah, our stolen car was found by friends not police,
Mates looking after mates. Brilliant episode. Imagine if Kyle rolled up in his deathslayer van and the agents piled out and started door knocking. All power to you all.
Im glad daves car was.found...great job kyle..as for the cops...its ashame you had to do their job
What a shop. Look at that workbench and all the task-specific coolness. I’m so happy for you, Dean. That car is a gem.
what an awesome car recovery story! good for you guys!
Excellent job getting Daves car back! Great Video!
Im very lucky that you found that guy and got the car back! GREAT JOB!
Best intro scene EVER
Glad you guys recovered the chev, DDave must be feeling a little better today.
Cheers from Aus.
😱😱 I'm so sad and extremely upset that I'm not able to write a fitting comment yet.🙈
great video. So happy details Dave's car is back.
Glad that Dave got his car back, happy days 🙂
Lovin it - T content great, as was the Edsel - so glad the impala was found in one piece so to speak - at least it will be home soon, crap the copyright shit - chalk it up to another one of life’s lessons- onwards and upwards 😉👏
You guys are serious detectives.
Castration would be a strong deterrent not to steal a car...
Kyle aka Marlow...got his Bogey on...excellent!
Dean----That Edsel is one good looking car. I drool !!!!
wow thats really cool to see the work and parts for the T and the gang and there cars. great job on getting the car back well played. cheers guys.
Great sleuthing Guys congratulations well done🎉
And the academy award goes to Scott Newstead for best supporting actor on the Strong’s Garage Show I was thinking about the fuel pump issue on the Edsel if it uses a push rod from the cam to the pump it might be worn down causing low diaphragm lift
That's great when talking about the impala. You mentioned the suspects photo, and there was Dean on the TV😅
Way to go Kyle!!!
Did folks know that the Studebaker corporation owned Gravely tractors, congratulations on getting the car back, my father used to say " they use to hang horse thief's " thanks again for all you do! Mark
The Strongs guys crack me up , I don't know how everyone talks at the same time and still communicates .
Loved the intro and TOTALLY love how you guys found Detail’s car! Kudos to you guys for taking care of your friend!
Been looking forward to more progress on the t engine. Looking forward to seeing this thing get all hot rodded up.
Enjoyed the opening of todays video. Looking forward to the rest of todays show.❤😂✌️👍cheers.
