    About Lake County Lake Lovers
    WHAT WE BELIEVE: Lake County Lake Lovers (LCLL) believes lakes are what make Lake County great, and it is only through committed volunteer action that our county’s water resources will improve. The Lake County Health Department indicates the majority of Lake County’s 173 lakes are in a state of decline. Government nor do they offer adequate funding opportunities.
    HOW WE WORK: We engage and guide passionate volunteers to act in manner that creates synergy while collaborating with local and national government leaders.
    WHAT WE DELIVER: We measure water health and create public trend lines, engage students to become community scientists, and invite public and private donors to partner in our work.
    WHO WE ARE: All who consider themselves lake lovers are invited to play a part in Lake County Lake Lovers. The volunteer organization operates in Lake County, IL USA under the Global Water Works 501c3, www.globalwaterworks.org
