Honestly the game looks super beautiful but the AI behaviour looks a bit lacking to me. It’s too telegraphed. 2 dinos lock into combat till 1 is dead etc. Could make it more random. Maybe 1 runs away sometimes I don’t know. Another completely oblivious to the fight feet away and then it clips through it. I’ve already got this game and still super excited for it however I’m worried about the AI behaviour. For me it’s always gameplay over graphics. Graphics get you into the game but the gameplay keeps you there.
I’m super excited for this game. Fingers crossed they improve some things over time. Nature is not scripted there is elements of randomness in it. It just feels too set in stone the actions going on. Very beautiful game though. I think these guys will sort it out. I believe they have a good track record when it comes to looking after there games after there out.
Also, look at the way the second cerato just stands there in the way of the first one, fighting the trike. They should of made it so that they both team up/compete over it/or atleast have it move out of the way to avoid injury, but it just stands there, messing up the immersion. still a cool game but maybe tweak the AIs abit to react to a wider verity of situations like what was done in MHW.
We got some nice new details: - New dino: Huayangosaurus. It's nice to have also lesser known dinosaurs in the park - First look at the Dracorex - Owen is in the game, but Chris Pratt is not doing the voice like Goldblum - New Ceratosaurus skin is pretty cool - The blood seems to be in the game as a smoke cloud. Better than nothing i guess. - Better look at how sicknesses and storms work Pretty cool, nothing groundbreaking but interesting
The ceratosaurus has been genetically modified to be more dangerous... you can clearly see.. don’t believe me watch the first 45 minutes of gameplay that we got months ago of a cerato and a triceratops fighting to this one. You will see the drastic difference
Lucas N There were some factors not explained as to why the Cerato won. First they genetically modified the Cerato to make her more powerful, and they said when a dinosaur wins more fights it'll become battle experienced and be more likely to win more fights. That cerato had won one fight before she fought the Triceratops which probably helped a little.

Really? This guy just skipped any friggin showcase of the dinosaurs and couldn't zoom out anymore just because the game didn't let him... IGN next time: 1) Take your time and don't rush through the gameplay. 2) Showcase the game properly. 3) Show what we really want to see, if it's a dino game, show the dinos, if it's a racing game show the cars. It isn't that complicated to figure out.
I really wish they would add an animation for building repairs, not to dissimilar from when buildings are initially created. I want to be fully immersed.

The Utah Raptor (the velociraptor as known from the films) is easily my favorite species of dinosaur. They have always captured e because they are nimble, quick, and beautiful, plus they are much bigger than other species of raptors at an average of 5 feet tall. And since the Utah Raptor is my favorite dinosaur species I hope we have the chance to make them as close to how they actually looked with colorful (but not too colorful as to avoid detection) feathers.
Love it! Wish they would add an animation for the defender attempting to dodge an attack though, that would make it a little more engaging. Maybe just a slight head movement or moving back slightly before being hit?

Guys the reason the cerato won is because you can genetically engineer your dinosaurs just the way you want them... in this case the cerato has been buffed in size, color, and strength making it a stronger combatant. But definitely if the cerato was normal it would win
On one hand I like to see that there are animations and fights between "low tier" carnivores and "high tier" hervibores, on the other hand, it feels weird to me, it makes sense, but from all my time in jpog it feels weird to me. I remember they always go panic mode at them.
So the devs didn't think Dracorex Hogwartsia is just a female/juvenile Pachycephalosaurus like a Stygimoloch? (seeing how they're both in the game under their own genus) Well, I won't mind; Dracorex is one of my favorite dinosaurs and it's great to have one in this game!

in operation genesis you could put cleaning stations that you use to hire the cleaning crew in your enclosures... nobody cared about the cleaning people. ... best way to feed raptors by far XD

Under no circumstance should a single ceratosaurs of that size compared to a triceratops be able to kill or do a heavy amount of damage. Unless the triceratops is young, sick, injured, weak, old, or outnumbered, it should never lose to a carnivore that is more than 5 times smaller than itself, especially if it is taking attacks from the front side.
the only problem I see is that dinosaurs do not have herd behavior, that is, if there are 2 ceratosaurus and 1 triceratops, why did they fight 1v1?, the ceratosaurus are so honorable? ... well, I suppose that programming hunting behaviors must be difficult, however I remember that the game Operation Genesis the ceratosaurus did have hunt in a group and when they attacked an herbivore they did it together.

One thing I have to admit is lackluster in this game is the combat. I feel like real life dinosaur fights wouldn't be circling around each other for a few minutes and attacking once every few minutes. Fights need to be continuous and attack moves need to be constant..
I’m pumped for this game SOOOO MUCH but the combat system need LOTS of work. Maybe 10-15 attack animations and maybe something more interesting than the dinos being 2ft apart slowing circling each other for 30 seconds at a time before one attacks.... Also, I have no idea how the trike didn’t win 😐😒
I wish that when this is fully made that the dinosaurs don’t immediately wake up after being placed down from moving when tranquilised and it takes time for them to wake up and when they do there a bit dazed
