- Bro Hyperion's are 2 billion coins. So I found alternatives for much cheaper to save your bank. Like the Yeti sword, Midas staff, fire veil, and fire fury. This video took 8 days to edit so I hope you like it!

hyperion gives you absorption damage reduction, teleports you forward, doesn't have a cool down, gives you health, can be used effectively outside and inside dungeons.

i thought hyperion had a 0.15s cooldown bc of right-click autoclicking being a meta a few years back
Yeti sword doesn't deal the more dmg the closer you are, its dmg is based on how close the middle of the rock throw is to the enemy
A silly bit not mentioned about yeti sword is that if you walk into blocks backwards while spamming it you can create ghost blocks

I’ve been using Midas staff for well over a year now, in and outside of dungeons. I always use blue whale pet and mana has never been a problem for me.
Ive used it with adaptive as a joke in f6 and I didn't run out either

could you combine midas staff and yeti sword so you have almost no cooldown? just asking (have a hyperion)
If your doing yeti sword mage , I recommend 2/4 necromancer boots and legs with storm or t 12 perfect chest plate with wither gogs
spirit sceptre is also a good mage weapon because it does not slow you down and does a good amount of damage which is noticable with a gauntlet ofcontagion
You can also cycle the 1s cd from yeti and staff for insane dmg

thats not really viable as even the staff its self will deplete all your mana withing 20seconds unless you have god roll everything

ive had the goal of hyperion since it came out over 1k hours it keeps getting further away im glad theirs alternatives but it wont feel the same
For the Yeti sword, you don't have to block, i think you can just use 1.19 on it, idk if mods work on 1.19 but its much faster to use mana items that way

Yeti sword is amazing outside dungeons really dealing with a lot of random mobs you encounter, but its not really that good for dungeons, 1: you need high cata level or you will get smooshed in dungeons even with goldor pieces, 2: the clearing potential is so bad and you need to have a spirit spectre with the yeti sword to properly clear, 3: if u dont have healing mini boss gonna bonk bonk
I use yeti sword in dungeons and I can easily deal with everything at floor 6 except for gold room and I’m cata 22
I haven’t done f7 so I don’t really know if it’s viable at that floor
Yeti is not viable in f7, also im cata 26 and I get bonked at f5 with 2/4 goldor and 1/4 storm in boss and miniboss

You could prob do t4s with a 100m midas. End artifact is a must in my opinion
you can do t4s with goggle 2/4 storm and 1/4 fd and ender arti , or full fd if you cant afford arti
Keep that in mind that if you're a mage with yeti sword in high floors, you would be get insta kick

also f7 parties mostly wont add non hyp mages, and midas staff mages get kicked from f6 a lot
Also aurora staff is a good, cheap option to use between yeti or midas cooldowns

down side of midas staff is that 100mil staff is 300mil on ah and most annoying is that players dont know it block arrows and all dps class want to kill them when that use it in boss and yes hyperion is not that better dps but it is best healing item and you can teleport with it ...

to be realistic don't buy a midas staff for dungeons. using it f5 and higher is an insta kick in most cata 30+ parties

Even before master mode existed back when hyp was 400m I was getting kicked from partys for having a midas staff and sceptre…

Noone talks about Glacial Scythe. The mana cost is litteraly nothing and you can regen it before you use it the next time, versus a hyperion which spamming it can result in 0 mana. All be it the damage is alot worse, but in dungeons you can shoot and clear from very far away and not have to get in everythings business. I use a glacial scythe in the clear OVER my hyperion.
I made an entire video about the glacial scythe when it first came out, but I would never use scythe over hyp because I dont run out of mana xD

Why didnt you use spirit sceptre and glacial scythe? Ngl scythe sucks, but SS is pretty good. Its really cheap. Ngl best value for money is spirit sceptre and juju. Its broken compared to their price.

Back when I still played dungeons (I farm now) I would use an mstaff and the only way I wouldn’t be kicked out of parties would be to use LCM in the boss fight with my GS

dont use mage in f7 if you cant afford hyp, jus go a diff class
Also outside dungeons you can swap between yeti and the Midas staff for a good dos output as long as you have a good ping
Also if you have a mouse with extra buttons you can make it nearly brainless when swapping by pressing buttons 4 and 5 between hits instead of scrolling or using num pad

I use hyperion for healing, best healing item ever!
i'd say my alternatives for hyperion are:
dungeons - spirit sceptre, midas staff
i use sceptre and properly used is better than hyperion, and stfu if you think that hyperion is necessary, healing is nonexistent for rcm (because you don't have crit damage for that), has no range (so 10% dmg resistance is irrelevant since you take 2x more dmg from standing close to wither miners) and is extremely painful to clear with high ping, also even if you had a hypermaxed hyperion and cata 50, still doesn't matter, you'll die no matter what if you're skill issued... yeah, it gives more damage, but in my 500 runs of experience, i can't find a single case where hyperion is a complete must, everything can be done with cheaper stuff and a lot more reliably... also f-ing stop hitting bosses with midas staff, it's not your business to do that
outside of dungeons - combining aurora staff, voodoo doll and fire veil, the setup costs like 20-25m, maybe 100m with a decent storm armor... you can use all weapons at once which deals way more dps than giant's sword while also providing you with multiple ways to deal damage (not just single target close range), that setup literally lets me solo ashfang so that's pretty good
healing - gloomlock grimoire if you don't spam it and got soulflow battery, florid zombie sword (however that one is questionable cuz cooldown is so stupid long), pigman sword for resistance, wand of atonment for overall healing, plasmaflux for overall healing as well, gyrokinetic wand when dealing with true damage (seriously, it's op for f7 with lower level parties)
yes, I was gonna include grimoire or whatever for healing replacement but I think most people came for the dps items
