We just got back from Panama a few weeks ago on Copa and we loved everything about them! The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. The flights were on time and as scheduled. We will try better seats next time as my husband is 6'4" and had no room. We did not like the Panama City airport though. It was very confusing to figure out where you were supposed to be. At times, you were walking inside the airport then outside for a bit then to a hot and humid waiting area to board and then walking outside to a bus that drove you around to the other side of the airport to board the plane! Not well planned out at all and the food there was super duper expensive! Of our whole experience, the airport in Panama City was by far the hardest part. Maybe next time will be better. We will always try to choose Copa though as we really liked them.
I’m glad you enjoyed flying with them! I would definetly choose them above other Latin American carriers such as Avianca or Volaris. And yes, Panama City Airport is quite the disaster 😂
You guys aren't worried of flying on Max ? I just read some reviews & comments as well as watched a documentary of that crash...I am still worried & scared as they didn't remove the problem causing sensor, they just added a feature to control the situation caused those crashes !! Also, they trained pilots for what to do in that situation & I guess manually handle the plane in the case ! But,nothing of those will not stop the engines from stolling !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞
thank you for this video. I am taking this flight in 2 weeks on my way back from Brazil. I was thinking about upgrading to business class on the Panama - Brazil - Panama flights but the Econ seats look decent. How did you know the runway # while landing at IAD? impressive :
Thank you for your comment! Business class on Copa isn’t really good so I wouldn’t recommend upgrading, but do as you wish. I used to fly in and out of IAD frequently so I memorized the runway numbers and approaches!
As I said, I’m happy to see Copa gives hot meals to their passengers, even though the quality need some improvement. Definetly a + over US airlines though 👍

US airlines don’t even give you food just a cold sandwich
5 hors on a 737 is tough, ive been to russia ib 2017, and we flow on S7 from Perm to Magadan on an a320, was not that nice
Yes. COPA whups US airlines, but really, that’s such a low bar to pass 😂😂
Bad food? They had really good spaghetti last time and chicken too
Bad food? Usually, people don't eat bad food honey1
Might be efficient to fly the 737 max because of the distance are quite long. Just saying it in my personal opinion
Yeah, Copa Airlines also operates a few MAXs so I can definitely see them using them on their longer US routes as you said.

I’ve been through the old terminal many times, and I know what you mean about the heat. It’s like a steam room.😮

Bro - you fly United, America, Delta, etc - you get a pack of pretzels and a coke. At least Copa gives a hot meal!

@@ticoaviation don't eat it then brooooooooooooo
I’m flying with them next month. Is it true they don’t even give beer on coach?
Nope! At least not when I flew with them. They only offer you water or juice, which is surprisingly mediocre compared to other airlines.
