Not only did you do a fantastic video on removing the carb on a Husqvarna 435 chainsaw, you also made a how to video for others making how to videos. Absolutely no nonsense to your video. Didn't have to listen to jokes or about the kids or dogs. One of the very best how to videos I have seen.
I'm about to do this on a Husqvarna T435 this week for a friend who is a landscaper. This was a huge help since I haven't worked on many Husqvarna products. Very similar to Stihl. Idle fines. I'm thinking it dirty/partially clogged since it runs perfect at WOT for about a minute after priming it and suddenly dies. Fuel lines look good. Will be replacing the air and fuel filter along with the spark plug. If cleaning the carb doesn't resolve it, I'm throwing a new one on. Again, I appreciate the visual video.
Almost certainly the diaphragm in the carb getting old and crusty, not pumping well enough to supply enough fuel at WOT. Get a carb rebuild kit. Start from the original carb rather than changing everything with a new one. I have had many pattern carb fails.
Acch.. sounds like you found this vid after your repairs. It took me ages first time and that's why I posted it. Thanks for watching and at least you do know for next time.
Great Video showing what I need to get the carburetor out and clean it. I have let mine set up for too long and know it has to be some gunk in the carb keeping it from running like it is supposed to. Thanks again and cheers mate!
Best vid on here for that saw and and right to the point I looked at mines and pondered . .I feel tomorrow I will give it a go with a little more confidence. Famous last words .:-))
Most excellent! Saved me a bunch of time. Very good video. :) You're right that bottom allen bolt is a bugger. I didn't have a magnetic tool that small, so I fished it out with my miniature long-nosed pliers. Cheers!
Only just found this -after I stripped mine 😡 Great vid very helpful - wish I’d seen it before fiddling with mine. I find that sometimes a blob of thick grease on the Alan key helps the screw stick through the wiggles 👍🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Great video! It helped me a lot! The throttle and the air filter housing had me stumped. One thing... I used my long needle nose pliers to get the three Allen bolts out. Just grab and pull! Easier than the magnet. Husky definitely could have done a better job. I have a couple of 455 Ranchers and have changed carbs on those a few times. 5 minutes and I'm done. The 455 is a much easier saw to work on. This little one is a pain!
Thanks for the helpful video. I was struggling with the throttle linkage until you showed the little plastic clip to release it. If it helps anyone, this saw is also marketed as a McCulloch CS410 Elite it's identical. Mine (I live in Spain) has a small plate saying 'Made by Husqvarna Spain' and all the Husqvarna part numbers fit it. Also for it's detractors, I've had this saw for 8 years and it has been very good, changed the carb but the other one is good, just refurbed it with a kit.
Been wanting to replace the carburetor on my H 435 for the next hurricane season. This should help. It's a shame that every mechanic that works on these machines are mute.
As someone who has never done this before... seeing you pull that air filter housing out gave me a heart attack! Here's me wondering how many parts I'll break pulling mine out😂
Well I feel horribly stupid,I took the whole back end off lol but the saw needed cleaning and I put new gas lines on it as well, thanks for the video man I'll remember this for next time
To remove that 3rd pesky screw, I backed it out as much as possible with the Allen wrench, then used a tiny screwdriver inserted from above to hold the screw in place, then grabbed onto it with needle nose pliers & pulled it out.
Hey, I removed and cleaned and replaced per your instructions, still having starting issue where it runs a few RPMs then dies. I feathered the choke a little and was able to get a few more RPMs, but not much. Fresh fuel, new spark plug, etc. Any hints to further troubleshoot? It has been a bullet proof power tool for many years until now.
Probably a crusty diaphragm issue. It is running only on the priming. Get a carb rebuild kit. Avoid cheap whole aftermarket carbs, I have limited success with them. Best of luck :)
That plastic tab that you pull loose from the throttle linkage is more than a fiddlle didly...lol Did you rip any of the gasket when trying to line them up with the allen bolts.
Had every thing up to the peg in the rubber. (not the choke lever-yet) It would had taken me a while to see that peg thing. And even if I did, *finagling that housing off just seems...well... So that was planned by the engineers on a computer? Pretty good software, being that it was coded with a, 'Finagle Subroutine." Oh, I noticed you must use one of those low wood chips produced chains. Yeah. When you showed us the air filter. And, I think this is a rag 1 venture. Thank you for the video. *Finagle - To wiggle and twist.
Horribly designed carb. Watching this video is the only way i was able to get this carb off and clean it. The little plastic piece holding throttle linkage was designed by a madman. Attaching the kill switch wires can take hours. Piece of doo doo. Great video.
I’ll never buy a husqvarna chainsaw again there are really troublesome and a nightmare to work on when it does go wrong.. is seems like the were trying to make the carb impossible to get at with the amount of awkward little attachments and bolts holding it in place.. half of them didn’t even seem needed

You're very kind.
I hope you fix it
Already said by many but I couldn't get that pesky carb off without your detailed instructions! Thank you very much!
Wonderful news :)
Very helpful! I had gotten stuck and found this. You saved me a trip to the small engine repair shop! Thanks a bunch.
Excellent. So pleased it helped :)
Me too 👍

Damned right there.. just giving back for the help I've got from others :)
Nice job. I struggled for a while, saw your tricks on the throttle linkage, and was home free. Thanks.
I'm very pleased it helped.

A pleasure :)

GREAT camera work and way to show every step and zoom in. best vid of the ones on youtube, and without voice :-)
I didn,t realise the throttle link came apart from the intake housing.Would have saved me a lot of time. Thanks for showing.

Great Video! Much appreciated

And that is inspired. The final piece in the jigsaw. I can't re-record it unless the customer breaks it again :)

Check your fuel tank vent!
Question once you get the carburetor off what has to be cleaned or serviced? Mine has little run time on it, just will not start
Probabbly just gunked up..watch this guy's vid : ua-cam.com/video/Cyx2xDwnfiE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=HomesteadJay
That plastic tab that you pull loose from the throttle linkage is more than a fiddlle didly...lol Did you rip any of the gasket when trying to line them up with the allen bolts.
I don't think so.. I'm fairly sure it all this carb needed was a good clean inside.
Bought a new carb, it comes with a paper gasket, should I use it?
Yes, I can't see a reason not to.
Nope
Where are all the husqvarna 445 throttle spring videos?
