The crazy thing is Geese and Ducks can crossbreed and this is most definitely a duck he is protecting so its not even his eggs. Still a badass goose. Thanks for the video.
I hope nobody felt personally persecuted… while this may have been one of the few geese in the area, it looks like it “Gangsta-ificated” everyone while protecting others. A precious story of irony watching the same “Gangster” goose making us cry from tears of laughter, disbelief, as well as love and compassion at the same time.
I loved this whole story, but one of the coolest things about it is that it gave rise to such a beautiful song. We never know where our inspiration is coming from--thank you! 💖💖🌹🌹
I saw this and heard your song at the end. I thought, wait, I think it was a John Canaan who did a song many years ago, that I really liked, that I forgot about. I found What if I Loved You, and now the rest of your music. I’m glad I watched the Gangsta videos.
My Sister had two Birds attacking her and her son when they came out of their homes it was a nest on her porch " over her door. It didn't mess with me because I always' feed the wild birds seeds" these was birds out town. Black and orange. 😂 When they get off work they run inside.
Yea I walk past geese a lot going to work and if it’s just adults they might hiss but you show your dominant and walk through em they turn away but if they have babies they will fight anytime anywhere so I keep my distance lol cuz god forbid I wave my hand as a natural defense reaction and hurt it’s lil peanut head. I’d feel beyond bad.
Another video on this goose shows a woman hand-feeding it, which tracks with the behavior--sometimes this goose is 'attacking', but several other times it is more like 'aggressively panhandling.' Also, in the other video, it is not clear if the goose is male or female. The tail looks a little blunt for a gander, and the neck a little short. Could be 'Aunt Goose' helping look after some nieces and nephews.
5:00 when the music started playing I lost my shit
Loved this, John. And your song at the end... beautiful.
2:14 LOL I love it!
That guy chased me several times!

I remember this song. I remember a lot of your music. I think Love is what my husband lived for with all his friends and colleagues.

They will be back next year!! I've had the same pair lay eggs every year same spot for the past 5 years. Beautiful creatures that mate for life

It's near impossible for me to read white text on a pale gray background, so I had to stop watching.
