I definitely think Vintage Chanel's are made better. I just purchased my dream bag. Vintage XL Maxi Chanel and have a unboxing on my Channel I own a few Chanel's and feel like the Vintage ones are better made. I prefer Lambskin over Caviar.

I agree with you about the sizing. I like the medium size on your frame. Although the small would look good as a crossbody bag if the strap were longer!

I personally like to purchase brand new, because I haven't really found good prices second hand (although there is one vintage bag I would like to get) and I do agree with you that chanel prices right now are absolutely insane, but luckily there's only 4 more bags from the brand I want...and 2 of them are minis.

one interesting thing is, I just come from the Chanel official website and on their website there is a flap bag
Lambskin, Imitation Pearls & Gold-Tone Metal,Black which only showed 6 squares in the picture and other medium sizes are all seven squares, this makes me really confused. And I'm planning to buy a vintage Chanel medium flap recently and the shopping website picture also showed a six squares picture T T, hope someone can help me to figure out whether I should trust this website. p.s it's called The RealReal
