I KNOW the ALMIGHTY FATHER made sure this message was put in my timeline for me to watch this... I need to go back to part 1, but THIS MESSAGE TRULY BLESSED ME.
If you live your life with expectations for people and NO STANDARDS for yourself, you will always be offended! #TRUTH The root of offense is unmet expectations!!!
Great word as always. This is a HUGE issue in our culture. We honestly don’t trust anyone, especially those in government. There is a lot of hearts needing repairs! May this message spark folks with huge mistrust issues to pray for healing! Bless you pastor for always bringing a word to help so many captive be set free! 🙏🏽
The root of offense is unmet expectations and what that simply means that if you are expecting people to be a certain way, interact with you a certain way, conduct themselves in a certain way and as far as dealing with you and when they don't you open yourself up to offense. Jesus said in Luke 17:1 King James Version 17 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
You are going to be offended at some point in your life. The issue is do you know how to get yourself out of a trap? The greek word for offense is scandalion means a trap stick example the thing that you set for mouse to step on when setting a trap for a mouse to trigger the trap. You must understand that if you live your life not focus on your own standards you will live your life for others in offense. So how do you unravel offense?
