I have see couples in which husband or wife give so much importance to god, puja, bhakti, rituals, but they still ridicule or think low of each other or other people. So it seems all these processes do not change people. There is lot of difference in real spiritual quest and mere rituals or blind bhakti. Along with bhakti , gyaan or knowledge of vedant is needed to be more conscious in our choices of day to day life.
