Simply impossible, they have no guts for be soldiers, REAL ONES.
They are not soldiers. They work for their own security company. Ian studied at ROTC when he was a teenager and wanted to become a millitary. He turned out to have a bipolar disorder so it was not possible any more. It had nothing to do with his guts tho.
