2K11 was incredible for its time, and largely holds up today, but things like dribbling on the right stick and green releases always going on are things that make me appreciate current 2K games.
Remember when you had a perfect release the basketball icon on the top of the screen would turn green if perfect or red for bad release..Epic times

My favorite 2k was 14. The myplayer in that was so fun. I remember you could just unlimitedly get yourself traded and if you had like an 80 plus in 3 point you could just run down the court and chuck up any shot you want

Love this game. It's the last one I ever bought for an NBA game. Always did my player but I did it as accurate about me to start, meaning jumpers, 3 pointers, zero defense, and slow as hell. Good times.

On 2K games often if you hold LT/L2 you'll face the guy with the ball and the cpu is more likely to pass you the ball. Not sure if 2k11 had that but I remember it as far back on 2k15
