Alot of wrestlers have died that I truly loved over the years but Owen Hart's tragic death was/is by far the saddest death ever in wrestling!! Unfortunately, tragedies rain upon the just as well as the unjust in this world!! All we can do is stay in continued prayer and try to push through the pain & grief
Actually some stupid wrestling fans called Owen scum for breaking Stone Colds neck, but I don’t care about Stone Colds stupid neck I only cared about Owen in WWF.
If tragic events occur to bad people we call it karma. The fact they are good people is what makes it tragic. Really enjoying your show, wish you well.
I just hope some idiot doesn’t come in here replying that Owen hurt Steve Austin’s neck he actually did deserve it. But Stone Cold was Jack ass so he kinda did deserve it.
Hey. I'm a huge STEVIE RAY/BOOKER T fan. Im talking about the days of EBONY EXPERIENCE. Growing up as a young black male these guys were the 1st black tag team. I think they were from Houston, Texas. But they represented what being young black males was like during that decade. MUCH RESPECT...
Jayson Adams they say actions speak louder. Hogan said the n word but he had influence and was the one who pushed Harlem heat to win a title and booker to win. Booker and Stevie will both confirm this
What a true statement. Owen Hart was one of the nicest and funniest guys in the wrestling business. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him.
You're welcome Matt and Stevie Ray, I still have the newspaper article of Owen's tragic accident at WWF Over The Edge 1999. (RIP Owen James Hart) Wish he was still here.
@@soniccrp417 my buddies and i drove to Kansas city and got tickets to that show. His fall happened about 250 ft from where we were in the house. Even over the sounds of the crowd you could hear that sound when it happened. I still think about that from time to time. I don't know i will ever forget it.
to me its the saddest day in wrestling. i never will forget everything about that day. i cried for along time after it happening. he and nobody deserved that. i still have a hard time with it.
Love the show and thank you guys for what you do. Harlem Heat was the reason I watched tag team matches period. And it introduced me and opened my eyes up to many other and future great tag teams. So special thanks to Stevie and Booker for being a huge part of my childhood
@@derrickjohnson3656 that's not what I meant. Austin talked about losing all respect for Owen after he didn't call, or enquire if he was okay after damned near paralyzing him when he botched the Piledriver, He has since went on record stating they never patched things up, so the guy doesn't know what he is talking about saying "I can't find a single person that had anything bad about Owen Hart" He just didn't look hard enough. Austin hated Owen & rightly so, he cut his career short with that huge screw up. Then there was the T-shirt incident in the aftermath
I will never forget the times I was blessed with seeing Stevie Ray and Booker T perform at the Baltimore Arena as 🔥🔥HARLEM HEAT🔥🔥!! Me and my brother always pretended to be them and even made our own championship belts to imitate our favorite tag team!
Without a doubt it was Owen Hart's passing because it was so unnecessary and preventable. All for a very goofy stunt to mock Sting. That night at Over The Edge '99 and the next night on Raw were so sad. I was in high school at the time and the whole day I was in complete shock.
Theres only a few guys in wrestling who no matter who is telling the story, no one has anything bad to say about them, and the stories are always consistent. The two who always come to mind for me are Undertaker and Owen Hart. Everyone says Owen was a nice, funny guy, and nobody talks shit on him.
Hmmm....Montreal screwjob = Brett Hart knocking Vince out! Shane walking -almost carrying, a dazed Vince out of the Arena(Vince never forgets!!!). 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
The good die young and it seems in wrestling that the best people end up doing the craziest stunts. Weather by choice or that's just what they do i.e. Mick Foley.
so sad I was twelve years old my grandma told me she read a wrester died. owen was more talented than alot of ppl will ever know. he was the @ost talented and gifted out of the harts. definstely the best athlete out of them and im a bret hart fan but just like xpac said owen was more talented but bret took it more seriously and to say owen was more talented than bret is saying alot cos bret was ultra talented one of the best at making everything look great but owen damn he never got that big push but he was even more talented imo than bret he could do everything bret could do but also crazy high flying stuff too and I think he was a better heel than bret cos he had a bit more charisma the jealous young black hart angle was great and when owen beat bret in that one match was awesome anyways both harts are legends in the ring but such a shame a family man and good guy like owen left so soon r.I.p owen hart
Well, Steve Austin and Bret agrees with him on this, wasn't exactly happy with Owen and the fact he never called him to see if he was okay or apologize for screwing up the Piledriver and putting him out of action. Other than Steve Austin on one thing I can't think of anybody else that has something bad to say about him.
Steve Austin and Don Frye might have a thing to say... and they did. I don't think either got an apology, either. It's kind of fucked up to drop guys on their heads and not take care or concern.
Wrestling will never ever be the same as it used to be. Vince McMahon when he took over he not knowingly screwed himself and his product for the future when he took out all the territories that's screwed him for future Talent now the product sucks but in the eighties and nineties and early 2000s it was really good because a lot of those guys were brought up in the territories and that's why I was so good if they were smart they would start the territories back up and have local guys run up and have a history wrestling so it'd be just like the territories with different styles but I just don't think that's possible
I know another incident that was very unfortunate although some might disagree. Chris Benoit. He killed his wife and child. I think drugs and head injuries had a part to do with his actions.
I hate to say it....but Stone Cold wasn't a big fan of Owen Hart. Steve Austin is notoriously noncritical of other wrestlers, but he wasn't too thrilled with Owen after the pile drive incident.
I really wanna see that fall.... Somebody flying down uncontrollably and go WHAMM!!!.... That was probably the loudest wham in wham history... Imagine him falling from the sky screaming "AHHHHHHHHHH" and then wham thru the ring
This chanel doesn't have enough Stevie Ray videos. I could listen to him talk all day.
Man I love Owen. These awesome stories of him being such a whole hearted man.
Alot of wrestlers have died that I truly loved over the years but Owen Hart's tragic death was/is by far the saddest death ever in wrestling!! Glory Mosby me as well I cried when Owen died
Not a single bad thing said about Owen. He is missed. 🥺
The Hart's were easy going people.
Stone Cold has entered the conversation.
Actually some stupid wrestling fans called Owen scum for breaking Stone Colds neck, but I don’t care about Stone Colds stupid neck I only cared about Owen in WWF.

That's actually such a nice story! Cool Memory Stevie
Love the thumbnail two of my all time favorite's R.I.P Owen and Pillman you a deeply missed the business is not the same without you
Most definitely have to put Pilman in there, he was ahead of his time with extreme wrestling moves!!

They were not the first black tag team lol
Tony Atlas and soulman Rocky Johnson where the wwwf tag team champions
I love these interview questions. This was a really good one.
What a true statement. Owen Hart was one of the nicest and funniest guys in the wrestling business. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him.
I'm a Stevie ray guy
Big thank you to SonicCRP417 & Stoney420 for your questions!
Title Match Wrestling I can't believe Stevie Ray banned drinking on the set. 😥

Watching old raw videos and seeing owen 😢😢
God bless Owen...

He didn’t die

blah blah blah a woman abuser would like a word
Owen James Hart should have been a grand slam champion twice over.
He was just 1 championship short of accomplishing that very task...thanks to Yawn Michaels and his lackey HGH
I bet it Owen Hart never died than it was gonna happen, he was bound to eventually win the WWF championship. I wish it happened.
RIP Owen!
I miss Stevie Ray being on the podcast.
Wir vermissen dich Owen 😭 Auch in Deutschland bleibst du unvergessen . Ruhe in Frieden Owen.
Owen was my favorite wrestler when he passed. It was tragic.

The day Harlem Heat split. That was a horrible idea. When anyone dies it's horrible. I think Owen went to soon but we went out doing what he loved
The whole thing with the Owen tragedy, heck even the name of the PPV, 'Over The Edge'
Just really eery.
Without a doubt it was Owen Hart's passing because it was so unnecessary and preventable. All for a very goofy stunt to mock Sting. That night at Over The Edge '99 and the next night on Raw were so sad. I was in high school at the time and the whole day I was in complete shock.

A very sweet story.
Well that choked me up a bit
People always talk about Owen sense of humor
Stevie what would've been a better payday, Harlem Heat versus The Gangstas or Harlem Heat versus New Age Outlaws?
Outlaws bro..but not a good video to discuss that on
Maybe that
Hmmm....Montreal screwjob = Brett Hart knocking Vince out! Shane walking -almost carrying, a dazed Vince out of the Arena(Vince never forgets!!!). 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
And this is sad what he's talking about I watch this happen live it was freaky
Other than stone cold
Stevie Ray kind of sounds like Ron Simmons.
Sounds exactly like him
The good die young and it seems in wrestling that the best people end up doing the craziest stunts. Weather by choice or that's just what they do i.e. Mick Foley.
I miss Owen's hijinks 😔
What??
Maybe that!!

I think Dan Severn and Steve Austin could say a bad thing about Owen Hart, and for the same identical reason.
Steve Austin and Don Frye might have a thing to say... and they did. I don't think either got an apology, either. It's kind of fucked up to drop guys on their heads and not take care or concern.
Dan Severn not Don Fry, lol. I watch their toxic masculinity podcast and now that happens to me
Can we confirm if Stevie is Michael Jai White's older brother?
TheSilentSniper booker T older brother

jermf35 i agree, these young guys are being farmed up and they get buried. wwe blew alot of talent
Stone cold didnt like owen so much
I think it was planned for views. Hence the name of that ppv

So what. Fuck Austin he beats up women
R O W
So wcw and wwf/e crossed paths back then? How would they have met?
yikes. stevie ray does NOT need those close ups.
I really wanna see that fall.... Somebody flying down uncontrollably and go WHAMM!!!.... That was probably the loudest wham in wham history... Imagine him falling from the sky screaming "AHHHHHHHHHH" and then wham thru the ring
Brandon Davis that's sick dude
It was believed that the footage was long lost but it was public at one point. As a fan, its not something you ever want to see more than once.
There is no footage. The cameras weren't rolling. They had cut to a promo setting up the match when it happened.
That's a common misconception. There certainly was footage
It's WWF camera footage or fan/outside media with video camera?
The only person to speak bad about Owen even after his death was Stone Cold Steve Austin.
