I like to buy the match set of hit the road Jack and high falutin if you tape them together and light them at once.. I got a case of high falutin and hit the road jack and there's 2 of each in a case and I got them for 100$ at Rocket fireworks in MO. With my Military discould it came to 90$ for all 4 cakes! Did the tent have any Don't Panic for sale.. Ive never seen a tent with anything good to be honest . Prices higher less choices so I just stick to the stores..
Usually more weight inside of a cake just means there's more clay to make it heavier so it doesn't tip over. Very rarely does it have anything to do with how much composition is in it.

Neon is indeed brighter colours/only colour. Most of the time its a peony or dahlia effect. I personally like it better when the colours are mixed with gold/silver effects
