WOW you worked your magic on that model man!
Velo, Wow, thanks! Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already to help us reach more modelers! -Doug
@7:41....The decal should be applied prior to mounting the wing and the wing should be painted to match the tail stripe

I'm actually building one right now. So you chose not to run that rear decal all the way across the top of the trunk? I'm probably going to do the same and I'm going to just paint my wing the same body color. I'm going with purple metallic. Yours looks great. I'm debating on doing my hood black
OBD, The trunk decal is normally there but as a modeler you can do anything you want! -Doug
I have a hard time paying for a promo style kit when a high parts count kit is about the same money, good review, nice build!
Thanks for watching! -Doug
Had this kit,for the most part a rather terrible kit,I threw mine away out of pure frustration, revell has a top notch version that absolutely buries this kit.great job on the build,my hat is off to you.

Watch your stuff all the time, great stuff.
Hi, Buddy. Hope all is well. Whatta beautiful model this bad boy is. Super awesome! You are true to this hobby. You really love it. It shows on all your models. Thanks for sharing. After watching this video, I just feel like listening to Born To Be Wild and hit the open road until I hear the Boston State Police screaming their siren behind me. Is there a road block ahead, hehehe... Thank you, Doug. All my best. Lou
Lou, You are bad to the bone! -Doug
Perfect build Doug

Thanks doug i also had two mpc charger 500s and it had daytona parts,so i built one with wing and nose cone cut front fenders put in those little filler parts smoothed it all out painted it hemi orange.intended to be a nascar daytona.turned out so well i can,t seem to bring myself to cut the front fenders out,im excided to see more of your builds thanks.😃

DK, Nice score! -Doug
Very nice Doug! Love that color!
Thanks Don! -Doug
Oh the kit I bought only had skinny tires. It had the two sets of rims but it didn't have any wide tires for the back :-(
OBD, I know that the wider tires were included with kit #6278 but not with all the releases! -Doug
Very nice, inspired to build mine.
Al, That's cool -build on! -Doug

Thanks Mike! -Doug
I just noticed modelroundup.com shows this to be re-released and due to be in stock next month. Can't wait.
JD, Yes but don't expect any changes in the moldings. I'm hoping to see some nice decals though! -Doug
I was hoping to see the stripe that goes across the deck lid how do you put it on with that big spoiler?
TLMH, The key is to apply a decal like that first to the body using setting solutions and after it's dried you then glue the painted spoiler into place scraping away the paint and cutting the decal away where the wing is attached! -Doug
Where do the fender fillers go?
Brian, The fillers are glued to the lower section (bottom) of the front fenders to cover the gap where the bumper recess is. They don't fit well. See the description for addressing that issue starting 5:53. Thanks for watching and if you like what you see please subscribe, if you haven't already, to help us inspire more modelers! -Doug
@@RightOnReplicas that helps a lot thanks doug!
