Excellent tutorial. To the point, clear, concise, no bs gum flap'n about nothing. I don't even have a dog, YET, but I am considering and this was part of my research. Get'n too old to chase duckies in waders through rice fields.
Thank goodness I found this tutorial. I have 4 extra large ones to put together and I lost my mind at the first one. I’m a visual verbal learner and you made it make perfect sense. THANK YOU SO MUCH!❤🐾🐾
My XL Kuranda dog bed arrived with no instructions, included. This video was a life-saver! The assembly was slightly different for the XL bed (no corner screws) and required a floor assembly due to massive size, but I was able to figure out the sections that were different easily. Thank you so much for posting! It would have taken me three times as long to assemble had I been left to figure it out on my own. My long legged Great Pyr mix is in heaven and finally has a bed he loves and doesn't hang off of.
Got the two diagonal brackets secured with your excellent instructions. No idea why the 3rd side bracket won't fit properly. Been working on it for 20 minutes..... Have the large size Kuranda where I had to insert the plastic cording into the sewn channels first. Maybe that's where the problem is. Am almost ready to send it back to Kuranda. Nice bed, but doesn't do Roger a lot of good if I can't assemble it. NO reflection on your instructions; your demonstration is spot on and made it look easy-peasy. Thanks!
Not sure if you tightened the corners down fully before moving to the next corner, but if you did, Don't. Just hand tighten the corners before moving to the next one. That will provide you with enough flexibility for you to assemble the final corner. Then go back through them and tighten them all down. If you made this mistake. Just disassemble and start over. Sometimes you do have to trim those plastic flexible rods with a clipper. You don't want those sticking out passed the seams. Hope that helps
@@flycreekkennels9559 Ended up driving up to my sister's and it just took an extra set of hands to get the last corner secured. Her husband had an impact drill so I got the legs screwed in properly. Thanks again for your help.
I received it today and it took me 5 minutes to put it together with no issues. The bed looks good and my dog likes it. So far very satisfied. Your video helped me. Thanks.
Thanks so much! With your pro tips I had my XL aluminum bed assembled in 15 minutes. First time ordering one of these, the quality is exceptional! Will be perfect for my German Shepherd.
That hilarious. You're the first to mention it Chewar and I agree!! That table was driving me crazy. For the record. There is a drain under the table and in order to get the proper shot I had to move the table over and unfortunately it put one of the feet in a spot right where the drain starts to slope. I love how observant you are. Enjoy the bed. They are amazing. Hope the video makes it easy to assemble. Thanks again for the comment and for watching 😉
@@flycreekkennels9559 -Ah, that makes sense! Things like that just pop out at me. lol. Yes, the video made it perfectly simple on assembly, and I can’t wait to get the bed for my pup. Thanks again!
You're welcome. If you purchased the 40 oz vinyl material give it a chance to acclimate to your environment. Pull it out of the box and let it sit in your home for 24 hrs Sometimes when folks try to assemble the 40 oz vinyl right out of the box it can be stiffer, making assembley just a little more challenging. Thanks for watching and enjoy the bed. It is a solid product.
Help. I did exactly like you said (corner to corner first) but the last one I could not get screws to line up straight.and brackets would not come together. I took it apart several and tried again with same results.Do you have any suggestions to fix. Thanks
Start over. Loosen all bolts. Make sure support bars are in notches in corner brackets and just HAND tighten. When you have all corners put back together then tighten down with ratchet. Hope this helps
let the fabric get to room temp. sometimes shipping in the cold makes the fabric difficult to work with if it's still cold. If that's not the case just use patience and finagling. It'll go
purchased two of these and i am so disappointed. i expected better manufacturing, and we had to cut down the pipe inside because it was placed wrong and blocked the screw. i don't recommend this bed at all. helpful video, but overall doesn't work if you are like me and get subpar pieces manufactured incorrectly.
I've literally put hundreds of these together and never experienced that. I would contact the company and have them replace them. They are very fair to work with. Kuranda.com
I am having the exact same issue. The metal piece inside of one of the longer rods is blocking the open space the screw should go in. It appears we ordered the Kuranda bed around the same time, so I suspect this is a manufacturing issue. Edit: I meant to post this sooner, but I did reach out to Kuranda who had A+ customer service. They informed me that in shipping, sometimes the metal piece within the rods move around. They instructed me to hit the end of the the rod until the metal piece inside of the rod moved back into place. This solved the issue in about a minute. Of all the purchases we have made for our dog, I think the Kuranda bed is the best, hands down. Do not hesitate to buy one. Our dog loves it and after a year, it's still as good as new. Thanks again for the video @FlyCreekKennels!
@@flycreekkennels9559 I'm glad to hear it is a rare problem. We were able to put the dog beds together, eventually, and i'm not one to call customer service unless i absolutely have to. Great video. We have a 75 lb male golden retriever. Do you think a large or XL would be the best size? Thanks in advance!
XL would be perfect
You didn’t show the most difficult part which is sliding the white plastic stiffeners through the holes in the canvas. That’s what I need help with.
Sorry. The material I get already has the Plastic rods installed. Hopefully it wasn't to challenging

What size would this be?
This would be a large. 40 X 25. Perfect for 60lb dog. Next size up 44 X 27 is as big as I'd go unless you own a great Dane or Irish wolf hound.
This would be a 40x25
