Joe is the kind of guy that you never feel compelled to question the sincerity of his comment, or answer to a question :-) Still remember the masterful way he oversaw the nationally televised Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill proceedings, for that entire weekend. He let everyone say their piece, but didn't allow anybody (Senators included) to be overtly or covertly disrespectful to each other, Clarence or Anita. He had his personal opinion, but he damn sure didn't let it show. Gonna miss him :-)

SDVR laws give citizens another chance to register to vote and to vote. Thirteen states have SDVR laws at the present time. So how do we use SDVR laws? If you are still NOT registered to vote, then on November 8th, you just go to an election polling site and register to vote and vote at the same time. You still have to present several pieces of identification. The states of Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Washington DC, Wisconsin and Wyoming have SDVR laws. If you live in these states, tell your friends and neighbors about SDVR laws. If you live in the other states, contact your state representative and ask him to vote for SDVR laws in your state. The upcoming election is extremely important. Let's everyone vote in November!
