NANOOK Kayak - Speedtest

Our NANOOK skin-on-frame kayak is available as a kit in our online shop. We wanted to know how fast it can be paddled and tested it with a GPS tachometer.
Kayak specs:
The kayak is 507cm long and weights 12,5kg, load was around 7kg and my weight is around 70kg. No wind or waves. I used a comparatively long greenland paddle.
My experience:
Speeds up to 7 km/h (~4.4mph) are a 'walk in the park', up to 9 km/h (~5.6mph) it becomes increasingly sporty but feasible over longer periods of time. Anything above this is doable for short periods of time. Vmax was around 11.1 km/h (~7mph).
