Every one of the 592's I've seen have blown the center out of the muffler. If that's not a sign of a choked exhaust system I don't know what is.
I for one would enjoy seeing you in serious production mode, mowing through all of that small stuff.

Hey bjarne! That’s the saw I sold ya! I bought it off a guy who had no use on it cause he got injured before using it. I had to plug the muffler mod (I got a pipe out the front pointing at the bar) I got done on it before doing the course with your dad cause he said no to modded mufflers. I’m sorry to see it blew out! Can I make it right for ya somehow?

592, 36” Stihl light bar, 115DL skip tooth round file 3/8 chain 🤙
Full chisel, round hand file, and an adapter to be able to run a Stihl 3003/Oregon 025 bar.

Hi William. I recommend the Phanner pants because they have a compartment for knee pads. Buy some good quality rain gear. I use the Zephron brand of rain gear. You can buy them at Ono’s, here on the island. Also for working in the rain I prefer the “Viking” brand of corked gumboots. If you have a chainsaw already in Quebec then I’d recommend practicing your “undercuts” in stumps. You can also study the classroom material ahead of time, that will be helpful too

Why are the small trees cut. Shouldn't they be allowed to grow larger?
I'm not sure why they do it there but here in Tennessee they clear cut so the company can plant the type of tree that they want

They are stunted, will be lowdown, and dangerous to fall in, and depending on the yarding, heli ? they are dangerous to work around, lots of reasons, selective logging block areas are a different story.
